Honestly, I blame the APC supporters for what happened. They took their campaign to that area, knowing full well it's Saraki family house area. Like you said, they have been going about their campaign in a manner that breeds bad blood.

Let there be peace please. Kwara State and Ilorin are known to be peaceful.
The last time we experienced something like this was in 2003 during Saraki/Lawal political rift.
The cause of this is the serious challenge being thrown at Saraki's political dynasty.
However, let us all be mindful of our collective safety and wellbeing.
The elimination of Saraki is in the sight. Hence, let it not come with unnecessary violence.

Obviously those are PDP thugs.


How does one explain that a party who needs the vote of the masses to unseat a governor will now go on attacking the very same people that will give them the votes at the same time attack its own members instead of attacking the opposition.
