8. Under the PDP administration, Boko Haram was formed in 2002 and over 10,000 people were killed.

9. In 1999, Odi in Bayelsa State was invaded on orders by a PDP President and 2,500 people were killed.

10.In 2001, hundreds of people were killed in Zaki Biam. Almost 1,000 people were killed that same year also in Jos, in 2004, 975 were killed in Yelwa-Shendam, Plateau State, in 2008 they were 381 deaths in Jos again. There was never a mourning period for all these killings.

11.The PDP government promoted and commercialized militancy; a number of military sects sprouted and were serviced by the PDP government. There were rampant killings, kidnappings, vandalism and bombing of oil facilities, reducing Nigeria’s daily crude oil production to below 1 million barrels per day.

16. Nigeria’s recession was a result of cumulative effects of worldwide economic downturn and the failure of the PDP to plan and save for difficult times.

17. A) Nigeria’s foreign relations policy has been all but non-existent. In 2007, Iwuchukwu Tobi was executed in Singapore after the Nigerian government failed to show any real concern or take action on his behalf. even though his innocence could have been proven.
B) The Nigerian government only took action when a lawsuit was filed against the Attorney General, prompting the President, Olusegun Obasanjo to issue an official appeal only 48 hours to his execution.
C) If Nigeria’s foreign policy (and economic strength) was not seen as weak and unassertive, perhaps Singapore could have been persuaded to listen and a life would have been saved.
