Barely two days after His Excellency Chief Barrister Nyesom Ezenwo Wike paid a visit to Inaugurate the "Win All Polling units" campaign team,Four ward chairman of the APC in Obio Akpor defected to the PDP today.The ward chairman representing Obio Akpor ward 7,8,9 and 11 defected with all their supporters and destroyed their party membership cards.
Speaking with one of the ward chairman,Hon Prince Ihunwo who stated inactivity in Rivers APC since the court orders barring them from campaigning was given as a reason for his defection.
He said "I cannot continue to be in an ineffective party who has not been able to put up a billboard in the state,i will never associate with failures and have decided to join the winning team with all my supporters.I can authoritatively tell you that Rivers APC is dead especially here in Obio Akpor.We would all work hard to deliver His Excellency Nyesom Ezenwo Wike and other PDP candidates in the forthcoming elections".
