Nothing wrong in setting high standards for yourself. Life is all about challenge
Re: Are Black Women Setting Their Standards Too High? by Jabulana(m): 10:52am On Nov 16, 2010
Thank u Ann, I agree with you on all count and I rest my case. Every body has standard, black or white, Man or woman, I for one do not see anything wrong with that, If a black woman do not set her standard high, you lot would pass judgment on her that black women goes cheap, highest bidder etc & do not have standard or class, she goes for anyone. Please Ladies and Gentle men let close this chapter more power to all black sisters out there LOVE Ya All

i want a man that can cook and clean(no offense)
a man with a good sense of humour, who has the fear of God in him
a man who knows his way around a bed, whose penis isnt the size of my pinkie
a man who is really kind hearted and forgiving,
a man who really love me for me
either i get him,or i remain single cos i wnt compromise again[s][/s]
are my standards too high?hell no! cool cool

And is your age still young? Hell yeah.  grin grin grin grin grin

If you don't hit your mark on time your criteria would turn to:

i want a man that can at least help sometimes with cooking and cleaning (I will appreciate it)
a man who preferably has a good sense of humour, who at least believes there is a God
a man who knows his way around a bed, whose manliness isnt the size of my pinkie
a man who is really kind hearted and forgiving,
a man who really respects me for me and can show me some love
I hope to get him soon as I don't want to remain single any longer and to add, I am willing to compromise on some of the above

Even if you defiantly don't verbalise it as you grow older, you will mentalise it.  grin At the moment, youthfulness and nymphal-ism is still shacking your head. grin

Mr Corke I bet you are one of those stereotypical nigerians who dont have a job; oh o I am too big to have a job and do runs instead and never  bring money home.

Cos you dont have anything in life fulfilling you; you are looking for a woman to validate your masculinity to make you feel better from your rotten soul. Women dont find anything attractive you cos you are such a bore. Now you think women are your problem.

If you are a man and comfortable within yourself women will respect you. If you are looking for a woman that will worship you and you will be the center of her world you must be able to cater for her every need hence the unnatural facination.

Or she must be an oyinbo that you will lie to that you are a prince in your village.

Otherwise shut up and settle for a equal partnership with a woman who will equally bear her part in the running and expense of the house.

Why is it a womans job to cook where you not eating before you married her why is it a womans job to clean did you not clean before you married her why is it her job to wash your cloths? She might do it out of love but it shouldnt be enforced on her

Why not just get a house maid
