There are very decent Emirati girls and there are wild ones just like you have good girls and wild ones in Nigeria. If they love you, straight and if they don't. No games. For me I like them. cutieme: |

Friday is their own church day, more like a public holiday. Christian churches have the Sunday Service we do here on Fridays and Muslims go to mosque. ariketalks: |

cutieme:The shops i visited today don't sell used phones because according to them, new phones are already cheap so most people don't buy used phones but i'll still be on the lookout. If i find anything, i'll let you know asap. chufor:Yes o. In fact i thought today was a regular week day until i checked my phone. Zoey1:I can relate. Funny thing is we leave our hotel by noon or earlier but we end up trekking everywhere, forget the time and return late. Lol. djhispeed:The place is called Modern Dish. Not far from Sabkha metro station. Zoey1:Yes i have. I saw it same day i saw the Burj but i got back so late i couldn't upload pictures. I'll add some now. 3 Likes |

I took these pictures before the dancing fountain began. I figured the beauty of the dancing fountain can only be appreciated if in motion and not still shots, so i recorded a video instead. In the background, you can see a portion of the Burj Khalifa. 5 Likes

@ariketalks, there is this Yoruba (Ilorin)woman that sells Nigerian Dishes in Deira, you can get the kind of Yoruba pepper that will satisfy your Spirit there at moderate price...right now the name skips, but shes popular. Na only she dey serve Pounded Yam that is Pounded with Mortar, na only she get Nigerian Grinding machine (Ero Ata). |

cutieme:For popular brands such as Samsung, asking price is often anywhere from 1000AED and above. Of course phone specifications and launch date play a huge factor. Depending on how well you negotiate, you might get it at a slightly cheaper price. This is based on my personal findings in Deira. Zoey1:Lol The woman sure means business. Unfortunately, i have no plans of eating Nigerian food here, but who knows? Thanks for the suggestion bro. Zoey1:So true. djhispeed:No problem. Enjoy your stay. Mizwisdom:The trip was kind of unplanned for me, more like i was included in someone else's plans. But i've been keeping track and i promise to do a breakdown of costs as soon as i can. If i forget, please remind me Thanks for following 3 Likes |

Afam4eva: I dont like lodging in Deira. Too noisy in my view. I prefer Bur Dubai/Oud Metha and that's where I lodged in all the 4 times I have vacationed in Dubai. However I realise that I spend more time in Deira (for relatively inexpensive shopping) than other places and we spend a lot on transport to Deira from our hotel on our daily visits, so my family have convinced me to lodge in Deira when next we holiday in Dubai. 7 Likes |

Someone asked for the price of gold. 18 karat - 121.25AED 24 karat - 157.75AED Prices are for a single gram of gold. For 20 and 22 karat gold, i can't remember the exact figures but both figures are about 140AED+ ▪ Then another person asked for gold watches. I was told 3500AED but after a bit of negotiation, the seller offered to sell at 3100AED. I did not bargain any lower as i had no plans of buying at that moment but i am certain if you negotiate even further, you will get it cheaper. This was at Bur Dubai. I'll try to find out at Deira when next i go there. 4 Likes |
