As a preacher or a man of God you might have rejected severally or sometimes by the people you preach to or give the prophecies of God to! No doubt some people deliberately refuse the word of God especially when the word is taught in the purest form, from the bible, most people rejects it, they prefer the diluted messages of prosperity preached by so many men of God. Yes! Some will refuse to listen to you because you are not a popular man of God, or because you are not a “prosperity-preaching” pastor, ignoring your true message of repentance and the kingdom of God. People mock preachers and call them all sorts of names. Many do not welcome the preacher into their homes, some won’t even watch a preacher on TV, but would keep sleepless nights to watch an entertainment program! A preacher’s message is read by many with contempt, some sigh after reading a message put together by a man of God and even sometimes use insulting words on them. Hear what the word of God says about people who refuse to accept the message of God. Matthew 10:14-15, “If any house-hold or town refuses to welcome you or listen to your message, shake its dust from your feet as you leave. I tell you the truth, the wicked cities of Sodom and Gomorrah will be better off than such a town on the judgment day.
