In a desperate attempt to avoid the unfortunate scenario which played out at the Osun Governorship elections, where the opposition could not match the ruling party's financial acumen; thus leading the second runner up Sen. Iyiola Omisore playing in the hands of the APC.

The people's democratic party PDP is now solidifying it's chances in Ogun state by maneuvering first.

In light of the above, Insider Post has confirmed the African Democratic Congress Governorship candidate in Ogun State, Mr. Gboyega Nasir Isiaka is in secret talks with the people's democratic party.

An Inside source on the candidate's campaign committee, who wished to remain anonymous confirmed the development. The source revealed that the PDP Presidential candidate Mr. Atiku Abubakar had reached out to his boss for a mandate trade with an initial offering of 2 billion Naira.

The source however confirmed that GNI had not yet agreed to the stated terms as he does not see 2 billion Naira covering his campaign loses. The ADC candidate has thus pegged his selling price at 5 billion Naira.
Asked why his boss does not consider selling his mandate to the ruling APC?
He said the APC had not reached out to GNI and besides with the realities on ground, he doesn't see the All Progressives Congress doing well at the coming Governorship elections in the state.

The proposed deal between GNI and Atiku is aimed at mobilizing the ADC party structure to work for the people's democratic party, with priority given to the Atiku campaign. This is also an attempt to match the pressure from the Allied people's movement (APM) who have recently declared their support for President Buhari's re-election.

The deal is been facilitated by a former Governor of Ogun state Gbenga Daniel, popular known as OGD, who currently serves as the director General of the Atiku campaign organization. Gboyega Isiaka was appointed a special assistant on Investment to Gbenga Daniel in 2003...
