Nigeria’s media personality, Toke Makinwa, set the internet on fire last week after she posted her controversial 10 Year Challenge photo.

A huge section of her fans had wondered why the TV host decided to bleach her skin, with others claiming she might be having esteem issues.

But the 34-year-old has responded to her critics, saying she’s no longer afraid of getting shamed by the public for the changes she had made to her body.

Even though Toke has no problem with people who choose to tone their skins or add enhance certain parts of their bodies, she advises her fans, especially those on the journey to understand themselves, not to do anything drastic to their body just yet.
