This is the problem facing us as a Nation.


The judiciary is our last stand against acts of lawlessness and damaging crimes like corruption. The judiciary is supposed to be the deterring entity within the society and arm of government to stop and eradicate corruption to adjudicate deterrent and punishments for criminal offenders like corrupt public officials, but the judiciary cannot carry our such functions because the judiciary itself is part of that lawlessness and gross acts of corruption.

As we speak, apart from this CJ, we have many judges on trial for corruption, even the head of NBA, the main law body in Nigeria is on trial for corruption.

The situation is so bad that corrupt politicians with tons of wealth stolen via our treasury connive with corrupt lawyers and judges to shop around for cor corrupt judges like this CJ for favorable court judgments and most of these absurd judgments are always based on ridiculous, absurd and meaningless technicalities.

In America where we copied democracy from, this man won't be in office to preside over anything and they don't have ridiculous NJC body to protect or shield corrupt officials, even the ones occupying their supreme court benches. Here in Nigeria, crooks, politicians and even the judiciary have baked into our constitution all kinds of laws and schemes to cover themselves with and even our courts are so duplicitous that many of them steps in to contradict each other with silly rulings obtained by corrupt public officials to stall court cases for years.


If the judiciary as our last stand against corruption and lawlessness is this corrupt and grossly lawless, then we are not going anywhere as a Nation.

Now, we have ethnic jingoist and uncivilized elements across the country rushing in to support and defend this CJ, even threatening to burn the country down if this man is removed from office as if he shared his gains from corruption with them. It shows that a large segment of our general population is still socially and culturally backward.
