The Federal Government has respected the announcements from the United States and the United Kingdom requesting a valid and serene election in Nigeria and compromising correctional measures against those found executing election malpractices.

In an announcement issued at Ilorin on Friday, the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, said the Federal Government was pleased that the announcements came after it cautioned the country to the supposed plots of some resistance components who it asserted were attempting to abandon the 2019 polls through across the board savagery.
