The group of Dr.Obi Okwudili Casmir aka Voombastic Uncle P led Performing Musician Association of Nigeria (PMAN) has expelled Mr. Pretty Okafor for anti-union activities.
This was contained in a communiqué dated January 15 as part of resolutions made by the National Executive Council (NEC) of PMAN.

According to the nine (9) point resolutions, the NEC agreed that Okafor should not only be arrested and prosecuted but threatened that any individual or organization that reached any form of agreement with him in the name of PMAN will be sued.
The following positions/appointments were ratified: Dr.Obi Okwudili Casmir popularly known as Voombastic Uncle P remains President; Baba Ojonugwa, first vice president; Lady Cha Cha, National Treasurer; Boniface Itodo,Secretary General and Barrister Dada Awoshika-Legal adviser.
Also, the anticipated 2019 January 31 delegates’ conference has been canceled while the NEC recognizes the national industrial court judgment as it upholds the PMAN 2006 constitution as amended and approved by the trade Union.
The group stated that the office tenure of the present administration is four (4) years per term from the date of the national industrial court judgment in line with the new constitution as approved by the Registrar of Trade Unions in accordance with the Trade Unions Act T14 LFN 2004.
The statement concluded that henceforth, PMAN Identification card shall be biometric ID card.

Most organizations in Nigeria whether political, religious, social, ethnic, business, trade unions or even student unions suffer from leadership crisis. This means that something is fundamentally wrong.

I suggest we design and introduce a complusory course on 'Leadership and followership' as part General Study in universities across the country. The content of such course must not copy the usual theories. Rather, it should be nigerianized applications of such theories.
