It's Not Easy Being Green

Although it is a secular children's song (that I grew up listening to as a child), I am taking out a particular concept to explain a point.



It's not that easy being green
Having to spend each day the color of the leaves

When I think it could be nicer being red, or yellow or gold
Or something much more colorful like that

It's not easy being green
It seems you blend in with so many other ordinary things

And people tend to pass you over 'cause you're
Not standing out like flashy sparkles in the water

Or stars in the sky

But green's the color of Spring
And green can be cool and friendly-like

And green can be big like an ocean, or important
Like a mountain, or tall like a tree

When green is all there is to be
It could make you wonder why, but why wonder why

Wonder, I am green and it'll do fine, it's beautiful
And I think it's what I want to be

Tall or short
Fat or skinny
Intelligent or intellectually challenged
Old or young
Rich or poor
President or any leadership position
American or African or Indian or British or Asian etc
Physically attractive or not as physically attractive
A member of a particular tribe(s)
A persecuted Christian or member of a particular religion

One particular thing that can't be easy is being an atheist...in all due respect.

It can't be easy not believing in the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
I say that with such a heavy heart.

Truth be told...there cannot be any true peace for the unbeliever...and that cannot be easy.

Absolutely NO amount of empirical, statistical, data-driven theoretical anything...will fully explain the awesome-ness, the majesty, the splendor, the beauty, of God....nothing...
You have been given ALL that you need...in that blueprint...His written word.

However...you CAN let go of that "uneasiness".. and get

Those answers that you seek...
That rest that you need...
The peace that only Jesus can give...in His infinite wisdom..the void in your life that can only be filled through a relationship with Him.

Nice one, yes Jesus loves all no matter who you are. Like where I read some days ago in Hebrew 3 : 1, Jesus is our Apostle and High Priest, who is compassionate to all, that is why he came in human form to pass through what human beings experience as recorded in Hebrew 4 : 14 & 15.
May we not take for granted the grace of God that has appeared to all for salvation , amen.
