Equity Tanko Muhammad, Acting Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN) has encouraged the 250 named Chairmen and individuals from the Election Petition Tribunals to be guided by the dread of God in the execution of their obligations.

The new Acting CJN, who supplanted Justice Walter Onnoghen gave the charge on Saturday in Abuja amid the promise taking and swearing function of legal officers selected to administer debate emerging from the pending general races.

"I am enchanted to address all of you on thid event of the swearing-in function for the recently designated Chairmen and individuals from Election Petition Tribunals for the 2019 General Elections that is around the bend.

"As your lordships promise of office as executives and individuals from the Election Petition Tribunals, let me advise you that this pledge is a grave intrigue to Almighty God.

"Consequently, it is God Almighty that you will be at last capable to.
