Read my bible seriously. Done mfm deliverance twice 3 days fasting and prayer. Jesus told me to humble myself, which I did after which He gave me a promise that he will clothe my with victory. Though later He said my victory will be hastened by how much I seek Him. Now after my nysc I stopped praying for deliverance but that God should tell me the prayer to pray to stop this sin. A voice came To my heart pray for a humble heart. And by the time I stopped prayer Satan told me(how I knew it was Satan I use to hear satan voice and Jesus voice somehow) I gave you a proud heart. Now I never knew I had a proud heart until this time. Started praying for a humble heart though not seriously for like a year just started praying seriously. Now what baffles me is Jesus said on the cross It is finished. But it seems far from finished in my Christian life. I don't know how many years I will have to pray until God gives me a humble heart though I will keep on praying. Sin has ruined my life totally. Now my fear is if satan could install a proud heart in me making it impossible for me to receive grace to overcome sin surely he would have installed all kinds of things in many believers heart that is making them sin. Because I have listened to some holiness preaches who keep on saying that several people send them messages that they are battling with sin. I know the gospel is totally complete but what is making the finished work of Christ not finished in our lives.

BRO.... if JESUS SAYS IT IS FINISHED.... then why are you WORKING?
Let us look at this critically.... IF JESUS WHO CLAIMED IT IS FINISHED ON THE CROSS.... then he rose up three days later... and met that THOMAS and some others were DOUBTING and living in FEAR.... then it means DOUBT and FEAR were not nailed on the cross.... it means the demons of doubt and fear ESCAPED his DEATH, BURIAL AND RESURRECTION POWER...... Lolzzz LET ME SHOCK U.... what actually finished was the REIGN OF SIN OVER OUR LIVES.

Stop TRYING TO STOP what has been FINISHED.... simply KEEP FEEDING ON WHAT WILL MAKE YOU GROW.
Let me explain...see, DO NOT CURSE THE DARKNESS WHEN YOU ONLY NEED TO TURN ON THE LIGHT. If only you would focus on the HOLYSPIRIT and FELLOWSHIP WITH THE WORD with thanksgiving in your heart.... the SIN(lust, masturbation,pornography, etc) you feel is POWERFUL will go WEAK.

ATTENTION FEEDS MANIFESTATION.... what you give your ATTENTION to, will always keep MANIFESTING ITSELF.

BROTHER, Starve whatever sponsors the SIN you are so easily drawn to... STARVE(internet, whatsapp, social media, novels, movies) the CAUSE and there will be no MOTIVATION to continue. IT IS NOT AS EASY AS I HAVE JUST SAID IT O

To make it easy, JOIN A SAINTS COMMUNITY or a CHURCH where someone can be Spiritually RESPONSIBLE for your GROWTH. A whole lot of overcoming actually starts in our MIND.... your mind is weak and easily "gives-in" to the sins you experience.

The answer to the emboldened is because there's no time Jesus was talking about you or those of the church when He said that.

He was speaking of Himself finishing the work that God had given Him to do, which is to make a way for people who are willing to obey God's Word to get eternal life, which man lost in the beginning by disobedience.

So He's done His own part, so it's up to the rest of humanity inclusive of you to do theirs and benefit from the window His finished work of salvation has opened for them.

Do you know how hard it was for Him to accomplish that?

How then could you seek that someone tells you what sins he commits so you could give practically tips on overcoming the sins.

Since, according to you, there's no God... Would there be any penalty for the sin?
Shouldn't he continue since there's no God nor the devil to torment him?
