Following all the stories and arguments going round about first fruit not being scriptural, i have started seeing reasons why i should not continue to give my first full salary to the church. I am not used to this before, its so strange to my belief that all my financial sucess through out the year have because i have been regular in my first fruit and tithing. Should i decline giving this first fruit to see what will happen to my finances this year? Please help! |

Iceflox:Madam...U are the one giving it name, tithe, first fruit, offering, seed, weapon...wateva......All God sees is not the tag but the heart.... Obviously ur heart wasn't totally and cheerfully giving in the first place..That's why an information stopped u. Like they say , if u never had personal conviction on a matter and u were just a band wagon follower, u will easily follow another band wagon which u already started doing.. .Some pple give a year salary without tagging it anything just to advance the gospel... We can't Impress God with money..He owns the silver and gold of this world Not even with fast, he hasn't eaten since the beginning of time.... Not even with praise, the 24 elders holier than us are doing it constantly in Heaven , no break Just give God ur heart, u people should stop giving with the mind set of getting money blessing back...... Just do it for love..And love will come back to u.there's no how love doesn't come with the whole package |

when you give to people in need(real the poor) in your midst you solve a problem, when you give to those who already have, to create more problem. when you put a bucket under a tape, the moment the bucket is full, it starts pouring out of the bucket (wasting). you will be satisfied in your heart when you solved a need of someone in need |
