Nigeria is at the point of total collapse because of insecurity. Nowhere is safe. Travelling, business, homes ,even school environment, nowhere is safe! How can we now expect foreign investment and better our economy? Who would leave a peaceful country to come and die in a war zone country?
Even apart from Boko Haram, kidnappings,armed robbers,herdsmen, yahoo boys and ritualistic everywhere and everyday, is this a country?
Even in the President home state Katsina,one third of the of the Local government are no go areas because of armed robbers and kidnappers.Needless mentioning Zamfara and the rest!
Government has abandoned this very constitutional key role for fighting corruption as a key role. Fighting corruption is not bad but, should it take precedence over issues such as security, economy and unemployment?
Even the corruption war, should it not be fought with fear of God as His judgement or justice, is with equity? And as you too would be judged one day with equity and fairness?
Obasanjo created EFCC and even his brother IGP Today, a Yoruba was not spared! What kind of corruption war is being waged now;others crucified with fire while others are glorified in it! Compare this case of justic Onneghen and others such as the immediate past minister of finance Adeosun, was escorted to the Airport to escape.Consider that of the former DSS boss Daura, to mention just a few. Why are people not afraid of God? Does God condone injustice of any kind?
what is the significance of this one sided corruption war defense? Has it brought about development or a change in the poverty level of Nigerians or solve the problem of unemployment?
In the so called 16years of corrupt PDP government, villeges transformed into towns, towns into cities and cities into mega cities! Goods and services were affordable. These towns and villeges have remained stagnant since PDP left, hardly you see any new structure around. So, which time is better?
One that is honest with fear of God, would agree that even the number of suicides in this country is alarming.
The APC government hinges blame on PDP past government on all these surmounting problems, why.
As then opposition government of equally16 years, and having been closely monitoring the then government and all its programmes or actions, and challenging same, and having contested elections with the promise of solving same, eg fixing dollar to one Makes, giving us 20 megawatts of electricity in one year, giving the unemployed youth 5 thousand Natural monthly, revising fuel to 47 Natural, crushing Boko in 2 months, creating jobs in their millions etc and only turning back for blame game now, what an irony and shame! Was Lie Mohammed who said Buhari as a former armorer would mount an armoured vehicle, move to North east and finish Boko in one day as Metatsine in Kano.
Four years gone now, lies have hooked and the only achievement is blame game and witch-hunting corruption war. And as elections are at the corner now, another bunch of lies.
Nigerians are left to decide this time with wisdom,because you will blame yourselves, no one will need your votes again and you would be led with impunity for the next 4 years without apology.
