The Nigerian Army on Sunday said its troops successfully foiled an attack and killed four Boko Haram terrorists at Malumfatori community in Abadam Local Government Area of Borno.

This was disclosed in a statement by Col. Onyema Nwachukwu, Deputy Director, Army Public Relations, Operation LAFIYA DOLE, in Maiduguri, obtained by the Next Edition.

According to him, the incident took place on Saturday night when troops of the 118 and 119 Battalions engaged the insurgents when they attempted to attack the border community.

High calibre ammunition were recovered by the troops while several others terrorists fled with gunshot wounds, the statement said.
