One occupant of the plane carrying footballer Emiliano Sala and pilot David Ibbotson has been seen in the underwater wreckage. A search on Sunday found the Piper Malibu plane on the seabed off Guernsey, almost two weeks after it went missing. The Air Accident Investigation Branch (AAIB) confirmed the sighting on Monday morning. It added it was now considering the next steps. The "substantial amount of wreckage" of the plane, which went missing on 21 January, was found on Sunday morning after a privately-funded search was started. Reacting to the news that the plane has been found, Emiliano heartbroken father has revealed his anguish after the plane carrying the footballer was found on the seabed of the English Channel. A private search team discovered the wreckage on Sunday morning of the Piper Malibu aircraft carrying Sala and pilot David Ibbotson. Horacio Sala told Cronica TV in Argentina: "I can not believe it. This is a dream. A bad dream. I'm desperate. "I communicated with them every day, but since I do not have Whatsapp it's hard to call them or call me.
