AIB Begins Probe of Osinbajo’s Helicopter Crash The Accident Investigation Bureau (AIB) has commenced investigations into the crash-landing of an Agusto Westland AW139 helicopter conveying Vice President Yemi Osibanjo to Kabba in Kogi State. It was also gathered that the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority had officially informed the AIB to investigate the incident. This was disclosed by the Spokesman of the agency, Mr. Tunji Oketumbi during an interview with News Men on Sunday. By law the AIB needs no invitation to investigate any air crash except it's a military helicopter but since the VP was flying a chartered Helicopter then the AIB have jurisdiction over the crash except the helicopter adopted the call sign of the presidency during the flight which i doubt |
