The award will be conferred on the people’s governor on Thursday, February 7, 2019 at Abuja International Conference Centre, in recognition of his “relentless disposition towards building national cohesion, coupled with your strides in engendering industrial harmony, innovative and creative IGR process, internal security and massive infrastructural development in Enugu State”.

Recently, The Sun, Vanguard and Independent Newspapers also honoured Ugwuanyi as their Governor of the Year 2018 in recognition his sterling performance.

Ugwuanyi might be doing well in other areas but one of the key duties of any meaningful administration which he is underperforming in is on payment of both teachers'(mainly primary school) gratuities and pensions.
it's too pitiable and touching to see those who had selflessly taught the people of the state the basics of education, resort to broom making, bike riders, palm wine tappers, etc at their old age.

Ugwuanyi might be performing but he needs to restore the long denied primary school teachers' entitlements of gratuities and pensions.

Performing governors are quiet while this man is just busy buying awards. If Enugu is not in the hands of God this man would have finished us. Nothing to show for for over 3 years now. One difficult thing in life is marketing a bad product.
All these adverts just show that we have the wrong product in the lion building and we shall soon correct it.
