This is NOT THEORY BUT RATHER PRACTICAL AND CONCRET CIRCUIT THAT IS REAL.

Glo office, aminu kano crescent, wuse 2.

I attended a conference at the RCCG behind it. I had to subscribe on my mtn since glo went on holiday.
Try and upgrade your sim to 4G, I'm sure glo 4G service in Abj and it's environ is quite fast

Glo with their crippled data network.

Network will just vanish like rapture took place and I'd need to do hard reset several times.

I gave up on them when I was behind their office and there was still no signal, under their nose.

Glo.. Grand Master of data..

Before I read the Content Of this Post I already know Electric Power Supply will be one Of the Major Problems of these telecom s industries.

But I wonder how all there in -house engineers respectively fails to know that each erected mast can supply all the Electrical Energy Needed by all the transmitters hooked to it.

The height of the Mast is Enough to Tap into the Atmospheric Static Electricity using Copper Pipe (sold here in Ibadan at Oke-Padre by my smart Igbo brothers) and some other cheaply available components.

They Do not need any of those useless MIKANO GENS!!!

THERE ARE EVEN OTHER MORE WAYS TO MAKE A SELF-POWERED 20MEGAWATTS plus Motionless 240VAC Generator which this Telecom Industries and Nigeria at Large needs.

Make high a 12V/400,000VAC Resonant High Frequency(300khz and above) inverter and Dam the High Voltage with 100,000 pieces of 400V 100uf electrolytic DC Capacitors connected in series but discharged in Parallel using High Voltage High Frequency Diodes like HER208 which you can buy on aliexpress dot com cheaply.

Then get a TVS device like Varistor or TVS Diodes to suppress the High Voltage on the caps to 240VDC. And make a Pure Wine Wave High Power Transformer equipped or Transformerless H-Bridge Inverter to convert the 240VDC to 240VAC.

The Secret is to cancel Lenz first or Negate First Law of Thermodynamics by Padding your High Voltage High Frequency Generator with a Calculated Resonant Capacitor. Now to calculate that I can not reveal here but it is acutely simple to do. Once you negate Lenz, the Load on the Secondary winding of the Transformer will NO MORE reflect in the primary!

cryWhen they first came to naija under OBJ and they duped us silly...what did they do with the undeserved profits? They will not tell us when they make criminal gains, but they will be bothering us with their challenges. We can never forget how they made us paid thru our noses for SIM packs...and a drop call of 1 second equalled 35 naira. Those were the days you were at your own risk to flash another number. If the pants madness was around then, many ladies would have sold theirs to buy SIM packs.
I can Relate lol .... even with the exorbitant cost of Sim , one would still need an Antena strong phone like Trium/Alcatel etc or climb a couple of stairs to make a 2second@35naira suppose flashcall mistakenly picked

Re: More Telecoms Subscribers' Woes Loom by tzoracle: 10:05pm On Feb 05, 2019
Cut these network operators some slack please

I live just next to a mast and this mast has been active for 13 years plus
Every 5 years they renew their lease with my neighbor at unreasonable prices, they run their generators non-stop and the part that pains me the most are the vandals.

They constantly come at odd hours to suck fuel from gen and damage one apparatus or the other, its really difficult to operate in Nigeria

As for glo, me I cannot relate o, been on glo special with good surfing speed and humongous data for some time now cheesy

The same thing with banks.
They will ask for all manner of ID if you want to open a new account even though you already have a BVN. What are they looking for that is not already on the BVN? And what is the use of the passports again? I mean I am right in front of you and you can see my face...sad
We just duplicate information everywhere...

We are obviously running analogue and digital systems side by side and the analogue is still winning...sad

Why is everyone bashing Glo like this. Glo network isn't as bad as you guys talk about it.

I watch YouTube videos stresslessly with it. Even the last match Man City V Arsenal, I watched it on mobile with Glo '3G' and it was smooth.

I stay around Sabo-Yaba axes. Where do you people stay. I use Google maps almost every day moving through Lagos on Glo. Glo network ain't as bad as you guys portray it.

I stay around Yaba axis and I must say Glo is really good here.

Glo network is bad here in Benin. In fact before you finish downloading a porn movie with glo then Be assured you will give your life to Christ because glo network here in Benin City is slower than injured snail.
glo network is rubbish in ugbowo
I stay at sapele road in Benin, glo network is worse in sapele road.
Sometimes when I visit my parents at aduwawa in Benin City. The same thing.
Most times the data network will just disappear as if you switched it off
Etisalat 3G is faster than Glo 4G

The fastest and sure way to commit suicide is to buy a glo network and subscribe with it because once they start to frustrate you then you will commit one.
I dump their sorry asss
Am now on Airtel.

I leave at sapele road n i use glo too,its even faster than airtel here, dunno d area u leave at sapele road, its d even d best at ekewan road so dont know whats wrong with your own line

Why would any sane investor invest or re-invest in the Nigerian telecoms sector? undecided

The biggest investor by far in the sector (and probably one of biggest-ever foreign investors in Nigeria outside of the oil and gas sector) MTN that came here when NOBODY else was remotely interested in investing in the sector is being harassed left right and center (albeit they deserve the fine for failing to register SIMs - but not the insane amount initially charged), with even the clueless Attorney General now acting as the self-anointed tax authority and tax court while publicly announcing tax liabilities that he apparently pulled from his behind - sadly to considerable applause from the xenophobic segment of the Nigerian chattering class.
