Governor Nasir El-Rufai has clarified his stance on Foreign intervention in Nigeria elections, following the backlash he faced after a clips of his speech went viral.

Recall that the Kaduna Governor said on an NTA show;

“Those that are calling for anyone to come and intervene in Nigeria, we are waiting for the person that would come and intervene, they would go back in body bags'

El-Rufai who clarified his stance on foreign intervention in Nigerian elections in a statement released by signed by his spokesperson, Samuel Aruwan, claimed he was defending Nigeria's sovereignty and being patriotic. Read the full statement below;
