THE TRUE NATIONAL CAKE
PROBLEM:

A few days from now, this great nation turn’s fifty (50). With her rich cultural heritage, diverse languages, beautiful scenery, wonderful ambience, God given resources and above all, a happy hundred and fifty million people (150 million).
The so called “servant leaders” of this wonderful nation are determined not to spare any expenses with the said ten billion naira (N10 billion) to grace this memorable, once in a life time jubilee. While the tax payers sit at home feeding their eyes with the jollyment of the season, the eventful cutting of the national cake (the real national cake indeed) by men and women whom have amassed so much wealth from our oil wells (nearly drying them out), living in posh accommodations, driving the most exotic of cars flying first cars to any part of the globe and whom still insist that the tax payers are not paying enough for their selfless service to their motherland , the same ones who have kept the populace in perpetual darkness that their flourishing Generator importing companies might have a larger market. Na wa o!
Ten billion naira to celebrate bad roads, pitch black darkness, corruption of the highest cadre, insecurity of lives and properties, electoral malpractice that cannot be rivaled, rising unemployment rates, ethnic/ religious crisis fueled by this same ones who have vowed to serve our needs. So much money and fanfare to celebrate low standard of living, perpetual poverty and total ignoring of the youths of Nigeria. Thank God we do not have natural disasters here, who know what they would have done…
Well, what can we say, HURRAY NIGERIA, THE PRIDE OF AFRICA.

SOLUTION:
We have tried the civil and gentle man approach. We have written, protested, gone on strikes, our mothers have wept and some bared it all to no avail, so fathers have even lost their lives in the pursuit of peace and happiness. I say all that is left to do is an outright disregard for the so called rule of law. An all out civil demonstration by all youths of all ages, tribe, religion and class, as this is our future at stake.
God indeed hears prayers but prayer without work equals nothing. Even the kingdom of God suffereth violence and the violent take it by force
It’s high time we took our hijacked nation back from its crooks. Arise O compatriots, the time for a revolution is now. The time for arms folding and dialogue is long past, it’s time for ACTION.
ACT NOW I SAY, before it’s too late. Lets save what we can while there’s still strength to do so.
