The Sprint Drive is a Connected Car plug-in device. It can be plugged into a vehicle's OBD-II diagnostic port. The device automatically creates a Wi-Fi hotspot which can be connected to 8 devices at once when the ignition is on. The Sprint Drive enables long-distance data transmission that helps in emergency assistance, fleet management, cybersecurity and theft assessment, vehicle health and location tracking etc. This device plugs into the onboard diagnostic port (OBD-II) of 1996 and newer model year vehicles.

It converts a regular, traditional car into a smart connected car. It takes into account the car's battery status, fuel level, driver’s dashboard setting, coolant temperature, etc. This can be monitored through a mobile application and receive warning or notification if something is off. With this device, the driver can make four roadside assistance calls if he or she accidentally get locked out of the car four times in one year. The roadside assistance also helps if the car runs out of gas, or the battery goes dead, or if the car needs a spare tire, or an emergency tow.

The Sprint Drive allows the car owner to track their vehicle's location in real time with the help of mobile application in the smartphone and get alerts. The owner can also set boundaries. In case the vehicle goes beyond the permissible geofence, the car owner is notified.

With Sprint Device, car’s health can also be monitored. It can anticipate problems in the vehicle before it occurs. The device helps with repair advice, cost estimation, and shop locators on the car’s dashboard and notifies them on mobile. Apart from this, the device also records every journey and informs the owner about hard accelerations, sudden stops, and sharp turns, and give the driver an overall "safe behaviour rating." A small vehicle fleet owner can use Sprint Drive to monitor up to 25 vehicles at a time. It generates a report that indicates the mileage, trip histories, idle time, vehicle health, driver scores, of each car in the fleet.
