As the General Election draws closer, People are making every efforts to ensure the success of their parties. The religious Leaders in Okene has taken it a step further by organizing a spiritual prayer for the successful election and re-election of all the APC members in the country.


The Clerics while making a point of prayer also prayed that Nigeria as a whole witness a peaceful election, while also advising youth to desists from activating violence during the election. Speaking after the special prayer, the head of the Clerics reminded the youth that Election is not a do or die affair and as such no one should place his or her life in danger for the benefits of nay politician.

The Prayer which lasted for over 3 hours, was centered on the success of the APC candidates, even though, there was also prayer the better candidate who will lead this country to a better place to win the election.
