Form M is not required to import used cars. It is however required to import brand new cars. Freight forwarders and shippers will require your Form "M" number before they will ship your brand new car to Nigeria (Car considered Brand new if mileage is under 250 - usually) from the USA.

Do you need a Form M Marine certificate premium quotation?

Then send us your Proforma Invoice by email of the goods you want to import with information on the exchange rate you want to use plus the clause that you want to use to ship the goods.

We will calculate the premium payable and let you know how much you need to pay. Once we receive your premium payment, we will process your marine certificate and deliver to your location.

If you reside outside Lagos, once we confirm your premium payment to the insurance company's account, we will prepare and scan the marine certificate to your email. You just print it out and present to your bank. It's that simple.
