PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is a 2017 online multiplayer battle royale game developed and published by PUBG Corporation, a subsidiary of South Korean video game company Bluehole.

The second best selling game in the world, with over 50 million copies sold, and with over 87 million daily players, PUBG has really hit the sweet spot in the gaming industry.

PUBG is an acronym which stands for PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds and if you are a PUBG loyalist, you can understand going online every day and winning the chicken dinner (Winner Winner Chicken Dinner!).

PUBG is not your typical shooter. The aim is to survive, not to get the most kills - in fact you can win without getting a single one - so your usual shooter strategy needs to adapt.

Players are airdropped on an apparently abandoned island in groups of four (squad), two (duo), and single player (solo). They then collect a host of equipment like guns, backpacks, med-kits, and grenades which they find by going to houses, and various places. However, the players have to remain in the safe zone.

Venturing out of the safe zone is risky as they may get caught up in the blue zone and eventually die quickly, sometimes taking along their teammates as well who may have ventured into the danger zone to revive their knocked out rear.

Players/squads who manage to stay alive until the final safe zone runs out are presented with the WWCD prize, experience points and rating points.

OK now, lets get some words clear here. PUBG has a vigilante software system which monitors the game for possible cheat codes or hacks which are being used during gameplay. Called the BattlEye, this proactive anti-cheat protection system puts a strong shield around the entire game.

Once you are spotted by the BattlEye, the system corrupts your data and throws you out of the system.

Lets go on. Below,  we've shared a great number of tips to help you enjoy the PUBG game and get to the peak of the game;

Keep a low profile. Try to be tactical and make sure you are hard to spot. Doing things like staying under ridge lines as you move through the high ground, sprinting and moving in a random manner in the open makes you a hard target to shoot at.

Always move from cover to cover. Remember to keep scanning your surroundings so that you don't get ambushed. Better be safe than sorry.

Always try to find a suppressor for the last stages. Shooting with a suppressor will always help you retain your position. Also, superior reduce the recoil meaning you can sustain shooting for longer periods at a target.

Know your weapons and ammo and use them wisely. Accessorize properly with scopes and gun-specific attachments like Flash Hider, Suppressor, Compensator, etc. You can also customise your controls accordingly.

Not all scopes work with all guns - you can't put the 8x Scope on the M16 for instance, which was made an exception for balance purposes. Likewise you can't put an 8x on SMGs

Damaged high-level armour is actually often worse than undamaged low-level armour. Look at the number next to it in your inventory for a comparison.

Learn which helmets can take which amount of damage - a Kar98, the most commonly found and used sniper, can kill you instantly with a headshot if you have a Level 2 helmet or below, but a level 3 helmet can take a hit. Note what helmet opponents have before you start trading sniper fire, as there's no point if you're at a disadvantage.
