I personally am a victim of this, my little knowledge of animal health and physiology in my final year and due to my success in the course gave me a fake confidence that i don't need a veterinary doctor to draft out a bio security and vaccine plan of my animals. Colossal failure is the summary of my folly then.

2. keep your Distance: Your livestock houses/pens should have restricted access and only when its necessary can you allow people enter and they must have clean footwear and clothes, shower in and out facilities are necessary too, a dip is very important.

3. Keep it clean: you, your staff should follow bio security procedures for cleanliness, all equipment's, tools, boot, clothes, vehicles, pen must be kept clean and disinfected at all times.
