Police order vehicular restriction on Saturday

by

February 14, 2019

The Acting Inspector General of Police, Mr Mohammed Adamu, has ordered the vehicular restriction from 6am-6pm on Saturday 16 February during the Presidential election.

The order was contained in a statement by the Force Public Relations officers, ACP Frank Mba.

Mr Adamu explained that the restriction was in furtherance of the overall interest of public well-being, public order, safety and national security.

Acting Inspector General of Police said the restriction would enable the security agencies carryout policing effectively on Saturday, thereby preventing hoodlums and criminally-minded elements from hijacking and disrupting the electoral process.

IGP Adamu advised the citizens to come out en-masse on the day of the election to exercise their franchise peacefully without any fear or intimidation.

He said Police and other security agencies have put in place adequate security measures to protect lives, secure and provide conducive environment for a peaceful and credible election.

IGP warned that the Force would deal decisively with any individual or group that may cause problem during the electoral process.

Mr Mohammed Adamu urged the citizens to steer-clear of vote buying, vote selling, hate speeches, circulating fake news, snatching of ballot boxes and other acts capable of truncating the entire process.

Buhari has succeeded in making poverty, hunger look like an achievement.

This election is now between the poor and the rich

Between the educated and the uneducated.

Being rich is now seen as looting. Being poor shows you are hardworking.

The picture below confirms it.

Let's get Nigeria working again.

in my opinion, PMB will win this election, SE can't deliver Atiku, and it seems Buhari will get some votes from SS.
To be frank Atiku's only hope is SE and SS. Atiku can take 40% from SW but the north will decide the winner.
Though whichever party wins, at the end, we only have one party and that is Nigeria.

Failure must complain over anything. Restriction of vehicular movement on election day is the norm in this country, but criminals supporting a Cameroonian thief will still complain because their propaganda is heading for the rocks already.

How Are People Supposed To Get To Their Polling Unit

You are meant to register at the polling unit that's close to your house, so that you can walk to the polling unit on election day.

Modath, corrinthians, cleverly, madridguy, deomelo, seunmsg and other progressives.

I think we need to make provisions for the availability of portable buckets and face towels (because of their thickness) as from Saturday evening as you all know there will be wailing and gnashing of teeth on this forum as the results trickle in.

We need to be our brothers' keepers or what thinkest thou?
