Many assumed that their union was made in heaven. It was conjectured that Jumoke and Adeyinka were Nigeria's version of Romeo and Juliet. Jumoke in particular virtually had a three bedroom bungalow on social media where she left no one in doubt that she was madly in love with her husband of 5years. A week hardly passed without friends sighting an upload of the supposedly happy couple on facebook sharing wonderful memories with friends and foes alike.
It therefore became a mystery when Society Issues first broke the sad news that Adeyinka was gruesomely murdered by no other person than Jumoke. For days on end, it became trending news.The media was agog with the latest news. Every one was talking about the frequency of spousal abuse and death in Nigeria . It was one too many. Why on earth did Jumoke kill her husband...
