It’s a known FACT that electoral a malpractice has been a glaring feature of our electoral system over time. However, in a country that strives to eradicate corruption and looting of public funds by political office holders, why will her citizens who are the electorate still continue to participate in electoral malpractices? If the politicians from the candidates to the party officials continue to buy our votes, why then are we complaining? See this– did you know that billions of dollars has been estimated looted in Nigeria? While as low as 10 thousand naira can be used to buy our votes. SHAME! Billions of naira has been stuck in MANSIONS, TOILET, FOREIGN AND SWISS ACCOUNTS and a lot of Nigerians still continue to live in poverty and pain. Do you blame them? NO! It’s our fault. And this will continue to thrive if will continue to sell our votes, thereby proving to be signatories to their ACT. It is high time we CEASE FIRE not of arms but of PROCASTINATION towards the development of our Nation. Let’s say NO to vote buying, let’s put an END to ballot box snaching and let’s STOP electoral violence. It is time to prove once again our integrity as a nation, “let’s become the change we want to see”. WHY? You don’t have any MORAL JUSTIFICATION to judge any politician that loot if your vote was bought. This is not about the few seconds gain but rather a life time chance to change our nation for good. This is not any ELECTION, but rather a MISSION. A Mission to prove that enough is enough, a Mission to recover our nation, a Mission to save our lives rather than spill blood. No matter the party you support, don’t be involved in electoral malpractice. Don’t give us money to vote for you, WE ARE NOT INTRESTED Just tell us who you are and your plans for us, and if we like you we will elect you Ilawagbon ikponmwosa |
