You cant afford to compare the 2. The only acceptable reason would have been security improvement as hinted by the international communities and not logistics as over 150 lives were lost yesterday cos of the election matters in Kaduna south, the pdp stronghold as orchestrated by elrufai thugs. The idiot wants to come back by force.. How much is the federal govt contribution to this election because the west donated a huge sum to them towards successful elections. This could have been enough to tackle any unforeseen logistical matters ahead of time. They were busy campaigning instead of focusing on successful
elections. I foresee inconclusive elections ahead which would spark violence and protests nationwide. They have made us look like mumu in the eyes of the international observers who are already here. What pace are we now setting for Africa as a whole ? Why cancel election on the election day?Didn't they envisage there were going to be logistical issues? That's what happens when you grab power out of hatred and selfish ambition..

I know this decision by INEC is very disappointing to all and sundry, but for Atikulooters this is another opportunity to attack the president and his party for INEC's failure.

When the APC is affected by INEC's decisions against it, democracy is working and INEC is independent.
But when an independent INEC fails in its responsibility despite being given all they asked for, Mr President and the APC are endangering democracy

More shame on Atikulooters than on INEC.

This election postponement has shown that lots of Nigerians are far more emotional beings than rational.

How does Buhari and INEC work together?
The man even gave a speech on Thursday, telling all Nigerians to be law abiding during election.

.

NONE, absolutely NONE of the reasons given account for POSTPONEMENT ON THE SAME DAY OF THE ELECTIONS.

Is it on the morning of elections that bad weather won't allow planes to land?
When were they supposed to have delivered the sensitive instruments? Surely not on the morning according to their own protocol.
The card readers burnt by you know who, is it not the same INEC that released a statement on Wednesday that they are good to go?
What changed? Beyond the stark realisation that the game is up.

AND SOME OF YOU THOUGHT INEC WAS INDEPENDENT!!

DEM NO REEESHH!!!

2015 elections was singlehandedly postponed by the sitting president .
Meanwhile ,This time it is INEC that postponed the elections . The president has no hand in it .
I know some fools will say otherwise , but if Buhari can dictate for INEC ,then he should have ordered them to put Rivers and Zamfara states APC on the ballot .

You guys shouldn't be surprised if result of the presidential election is announced tomorrow... if Our vice president could deny so many things, he'll definitely deny not knowing there was postponement of the election and the elections was conducted with very few votes...
One more thing, you all will be blamed for political apathy grin grin

Please kindly spread the information.

There are many already in their polling units (probably where they voted in 2015) ignorant of the development. They are mostly aged people and women (in my base as noticed).

Thanks.

Sometimes you look at things and you wonder how the incompetents are allowed to lead. It is crystal clear that the INEC has no plans, anyone with the right tools would have been able to forecast and guesstimate a day to the election that materials would not be available at all your centres nationwide. This late minute postponement is fishy and out of the ordinary. How can INEC not know 24 hours beforehand? Yakubu should resign, we're tired of incompetencies
