he Kwara state government said it has uncovered a plot to blackmail the state chief executive, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki through forged documents and computer manipulated photographs.

In a statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Alhaji Ma’sud Adebimpe, said that the plot might have been sponsored by “agents of destabilisation”, who were yet to be identified.

It added that the suspected plot, which was uncovered when a lady suspected to be the executor escaped from Kwara Lodge before she could unleash her dastardly act.

According to the statement, “the 28-years-old lady, who was identified through her national identity card as Abdullahi, Aishat Mohammed from Zaria in Kaduna state had escaped from the Lodge leaving behind her Honda Civic maroon colour car with Reg. No. AA642KKU Kano and her mobile phone.

“The lady, who was dressed in black Jallab, with black veils, had allegedly stormed Kwara Lodge at about 4.30pm, on Tuesday, with some fake documents intended for use in blackmailing the State Governor.

“Aishat had in the process demanded for huge sum of money in exchange for her classified fake document. However, sensing danger, the fraudster quickly took to her heels under the pretence that she was going for a mechanic who would repair her car that suddenly developed some mechanical faults.

“When the case was reported to the State Security Service Command in Abuja, her abandoned Honda Civic car was recovered, along with various items ostensibly used to defraud unsuspecting public,” the CPS further alleged.

It added that the items recovered according to the State Services, from the vehicle include an Apple phone containing names and contacts addresses of prominent Nigerians, Honda Civic maroon car, pornographic movies, personal cheque books and pass books carrying different names.
Other recovered items, according to the statement include: her clothes in a big (Ghana must go bag), shoes, bags, printing materials and computer manipulated pictures among others.

The state government, however, wish to appeal to security agents investigating the case to expedite action and ensure the masterminds were apprehended in order to save innocent Nigerians from falling victims of fraudsters.

Why do you people take malicious delight in bad news - ever ready to believe the worst of other people. Obviously you have a biased mind, and your sense of judgement is questionable. I fear you o!

The above quote no doubt make me feel something is 'fishy'. The following questions will no doubt be relevant:

a) If Aishat was bold enough to go to the Kwara Lodge and demand for money why was she not arrested right there and then?
b) How possible is it for her to "take to her heels" in the presence of those; who make her "sense danger"?

Aishat is a fellow Nigerian, the KWARA STATE GOVERNMENT SHOULD MAKE SURE NOTHING HAPPEN TO HER. We should not be made to hear in future that a lady called Aishat is dead under mysterious circustance.

I salute the late Admiral who realy shook the kwara-dynasty from the foundation.
There are several others.
The 'key' is unity, once politicians from southern kwara can be in one accord with one or two serious ones from the emirate town(with more than enough KUDI), then shall kwara see the light of new and better government.
