You know, I have been thinking about this? Who are those against Buhari? The looting network of Nigeria (comprising politicians, bankers, contractors, lawyers etc.), Importers of fake products (aka our Igbo brothers), foreigners who want to continue to use Nigeria as a dumping ground for their products etc. Buhari is drying the pipeline of looting, he is encouraging local production of foods and other commodities - so our SE neighbors can no longer import plastic rice and other fake products.
Hate against people that did nothing to you. People that doesn't even know that you exist. How did igbos come into this discussion. As for the corrupt people, im sure the officials in this present government are saints. Why APC is losing in elites residential areas in lagos and abuja it beacuse you can't buy their concience. Poverty is a weapon through which the politicians use to manipulate the minds of the poor during the election in this country.

Bro, no excuse should make one not to vote or register except if you chose not too.

What baffles me is when we call our northern counterpart illiterates, whereas this so call illiterates are the ones dictating who rule us the acclaimed educated ones.

Now you will want to ask yourself who is the intelligent one among the two.
Allow them, I will write about this very soon. It's really funny when I see comments like that.

I voted in the North. These women brought mats and spread all over the place for people who were tired to come and sit. Even with the delays, the remained and were steadfast.

The educated ones will be on Twitter, posting posts that will generate likes and shares; while those who don't have access to all those things would stay in the sun, lay in the sun and make sure they vote for who they want.

Buhari is not known to travel abroad for treatment yet claimed his doctors are based in London? grin His doctors must be based in Osapa London grin

Buhari has always been a Londoner okay? His hospital is based in London. His kids schooled in the UK, and wife, all based in London.
his kids schooled (tertiary) abroad (most) and so what? How does that change the fact he rarely travel abroad until the illness?

Secondly, that he's got a doctor specifically for the illness that almost took his life meant he has been traveling before now for medical treatment?

Can you prove that he's had these docs before becoming president or that he's been visiting London for medical treatment before becoming president?

I'm waiting for proofs to your assertion

In the not too distant future, politicians hoping to contest on a national level will ignore the entire South East and focus on better regions where the dynamics and importance of politics are better understood.

A region with the lowest registered number of voters is still the same region with the lowest turn out, yet the lapdog called Ohaneze will start making demands like they were owed in the afterlife.

None of the two useless elements going head-to-head have the answers to Nigeria's problems but if Atiku is to cry after this election, he should clearly hold the South-East partly responsible for his failure.

Buhari will enjoy massive stakes in the South South this time which will ease the votes of the South East. Atiku can't win the South West, no doubt, all he can do is try...

It is high time people understood that cult followership does not translate to BLOC votes. Kwankwanso and his band of Kwankwasiyya are demonstrating this already.

The likes of Saraki, Kwankwanso and Dankwambo are nothing but political Moratas. In the end, there is a huge lesson to take away from all of these.

It is evident that Buhari will win this election.

Stop deceiving the educated illiterates here. Nigeria do not have a comparative advantage when it comes to rice production. Local rice can NEVER be as cheap or cheaper than Thai rice.

Yes, local production of goods is a great idea but what countries do is to focus effort on their core comparative advantage, and build on it enough to generate fx. That's the fastest way to build the economy. We will never be able to export our rice.
Nothing like deception here bro. What comparative advantage Thai has over Nigeria when we are blessed with large expanse of land with relatively good climate?. The only area where we may be lacking is the rice mils and other infrastructure which can be fixed in a matter of time.
But if Nigeria has no comparative advantage in Agriculture, in which area does it have?
On Forex reserve, we can see that reduction in rice importation by encouraging local productions contributes substantially to the increase in foreign reserve from around $28b 3 years ago to about $43b at the moment.

SenseiVoyles:
Here’s the irony of the whole thing. Atiku would end up with more states than Buhari but would lose the election thanks to smaller margins and poor turnout across the South. As things stand, Atiku would win every Southern state with the exception of Ekiti, Ogun and a narrow loss in Lagos. He’s leading in all NC states except Kwara and Niger and is ahead in the NE states of Taraba and Adamawa. He’ll end up with 20 states to Buhari’s 16 but with Buhari’s larger turnout in the NW/NE and getting 25% in most of the SS, he’ll eke out a narrow win.
Btw, Kudos to Tambuwal for helping PDP perform comparatively strongly in Sokoto, he probably would have been a stronger presidential candidate in the north.
And Kudos to the SW voters too, they are truly the most sophisticated voters in Nigeria. I didn’t expect Atiku to be leading in Oyo and Ondo, I expected Osun because of pent up anger about the irregularities in the guber poll and I knew Lagos would be split almost evenly thanks to non-indigenes. NL Partisans would make one think the SW is a monolithic voting bloc but time and time again they always show they reject non-performance.
Nice analysis. But I think you are over rating the margin Buhari will win NW/NE. The way it stands SE/SS Atiku victory would cancel out NW/NE Buhari victory based on Atiku's performance in Sokoto, Adamawa, Taraba like you said. Dont forget, Jonathan performed worse in these areas in 2015 and so Atiku has closed the margin a little in NE/NW. Now, if at all there is still any difference of say 500k, Atiku would cover it up with his victory in NC and SW where I think he would win with margins of about 500k each. BTW APC would lose Lagos with a small margin too and Ekiti has small number of voters.

Normally, i do not grace insulting people like you with a response. But i will educate you on what they call METAPHOR...

Definition of no-man's-land

1a : an area of unowned, unclaimed, or uninhabited land
b : an unoccupied area between opposing armies

https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/no-man%27s-land

No-man's land is an area of land that is not owned or controlled by anyone, for example the area of land between two opposing armies.

So next time get the context of an event before rushing to type jargons ridden with insults...
