If you studied part time or via distance learning, you can apply for exemption or exclusion as the case may be. But you must present a form of clearance from NYSC, so I advise you contact them. You may also contact the school in question.

Yes provided you have nysc exemption letter. If you had taken a part time course you should have an exemption letter at the end of the program. If you had attain more than 30 years at graduation then you should have an exemption letter.

pls, why is it common that some guys that are obviously above 35 yrs fond of reducing their age just to do NYSC. Is discharge letter any higher than exemption letter?

No the discharge certificate and exemption does similar thing but because many employers put age restriction on their adverts, many job seekers tend to reduce their age.
