Many make mistake of getting the woodwork, that is the skeletal frame ready before planning on how to get the roofing sheet. Why did I say mistake?? This is because many at times we cannot predict the flow of our incomes and therefore the purchase of the roofing sheet may take a very long time meanwhile the woodwork already done will be exposed to harsh weather conditions which may reduce its strength.

I have seen houses with the woodwork (skeletal frame) that has been left for years. Note: The owners of these houses will not use the woodwork which has been left exposed and has gotten weak over the years rather they will rebuild a new one. The implication of this is that, such clients spend more money than they should have. Imagine paying for new woods, logistics and labour fee. Oh!! What a loss. Have a roof plan in mind, that is, know what you want to use to roof your house; there are various types of roofing style, the most common which are the stone coated roof tiles and the Aluminum roof. The wood work for the Aluminum roof is different from that of the stone coated roof. Make sure you tell the carpenter what roofing sheet you want to use so that he makes the wood work that fits such roof.

You can use the wood work for stone coated roof tiles to install an Aluminum roof if your carpenter makes a mistake but you cannot use an Aluminum wood work to install stone coated roof tiles.

Ensure you always communicate with your workers and have someone oversee your project for best results.
