Facebook And Birthdays :) by agabaI23(m): 1:13pm On Aug 27, 2010 |
I noticed that all my female friends on facebook specify their ages to the nearest year when they 23 or less. something like 11th dec, 1989 is common. But the moment the age gets to 25 years, it will turn to 11th December only. Why bother in the first place? Any old friend would have seen it before the modification. Guys start and finish the same. Girls why now? |

it is for security reason. in civilized countries like where i live, with just your date of birth, much about you can be extracted and exploited by scammers. |

amefi: So those friends of mine who are 23 or below and have locations as Kesingston, hackney etc do not live in civilised country? Or do you mean that only the information of people above 25 can be extracted with their DOB's? |

Because women have expiry (for lack of a better word) date. In the old days, 20 was considered near spinsterville. Now @ 30, she's considered old. Men don't have that problem. |

Please tell me where does that saying come from? |
Re: Facebook And Birthdays :) by spikedcylinder: 9:56pm On Aug 29, 2010 |
I dunno. It's a popular saying that figuratively means no one wants to get old. |
