INDISCIPLINE IN OUR SOCIETY
Has the world turned upside down? How could a teen of six insulting a man of thirty seven? Elders' respect have now decrease drastically due to the disgusting behavior possessed by most Nigerian youths, most youths are not willing to bown down for elders any longer because they are already having the feelings of hoitytoity. The rate at which indiscipline has eaten deep into the fabrics of our society is now becoming alarming particularly among the youths. Indiscscipline is lacking of moral behaviors and self control. If a man of thirty seven has self control, he wouldn't went ahead and molest, even rape the teen of twelve. so nasty! I don't think the ability to control One's behaviour should be a daunting task. It is conspicuous that most youths in our society today possessed the characteristics of Indiscscipline which everyone can attest to that such as cheating in an examination hall, disobeying their elders, organizing immoral parties even beating up their younger ones showing how superior they are over them e.t.c. I pray that the youths of today wont be the threat of tomorrow. Well nobody is to blame since the elders who are the epitome of indiscipline weren't practicing the disciplinary behaviors do they expect their younger ones to do so after they've embezzled money meant for their younger ones what a shame!. The causes of Indiscscipline are numerous, but i will state just three starting from the family upbringing, peer groups and the environment. When it comes to child upbringing I gave all the kudus to the women most especially the ones from the poor family they gave their children the best training ever and what happen to their counterpart( the rich) their children are always right in their deeds, over pampering and lack of respect are always their formost characteristics. A child from a rich family can't withstand the that of the poor in terms of characters, morality and respect which supposed not, they ought to have the same level of discipline either rich or poor. Moreover, a family which has only one child tends to over pamper the child which will ultimately leads to Indiscipline most especially if it's a male child. Peer groups wont be left out in this article, I once heard a proverb which says "show me your friend and I will tell you who you are" we all know that bad company corrupt good manner, friend is the most influencial aspect of indiscipline. The kind of friends you keep tends to change your behavior/ attitude to either good or bad. Some youths are there in the library reading while some are out there vandalizing government properties. A person with right company always have good and positive determinations in life unlike the other jeopardizing its future. And lastly the environment. Yes, the environment is also one of the influencial aspect of indiscipline, the kind of area one is staying tends to determine the person's attitudes/behaviours. One living in a ghetto area tends to lack descipline unlike one staying in cities where everybody is busy with his or her prospective careers. Since every child upbringing starts from home, the parents should stop discriminating among their children and also among religions should stop. The parents should ensure justice among their children. Child upbringing is not meant for women alone but the men should as well partake in child upbringing because charity begins at home. The teachers are not left out, though their efforts are appreciated, i Implore them not to only teach their students but they should as well educated them. Teachers are also one of the effective instrument that can be use to controlling and correct indiscipline. And lastly, the elders in the society should also behave well in at home and in public places, because whatever they do the youths imitate them. And for every youth reading this article, try as much as possible to transform your indisciplinary behaviors to discipline, immorality to morality, because life has taught me that everybody has the ability to change from nothing to something. YOUTH RISE UP AND LETS FIGHT AGAINST INDISCIPLINE.

Good!

Majority of the problem start from home. The fate of the future lies in the hands of the youths, but the state of life, habits thinking and lifestyles of some youths are not certain, neither is it full of morals nor enlightening.

It's to be noted that there are some specific age range that youths need strong moral orientation from a parent or mentor.... many have resisted /skipped this process due to self willed decisions,( stubbornness or Ignorance) some are not privileged, and a lot of reasons.

The fear now is the type, kind ,form of information and bad exposures youths fill there mind with, and most Importantly ENVIRONMENT (friends with corrupted mind, gatherings).

YOU CAN'T GIVE WHAT YOU DO NOT HAVE!

Your assertion is not totally correct.
1.There are many poor families still pampering their kids hence pampering isn't exclusive to the rich.
2.There are many rich families that are strict and discipline. Many of them reside in big cities countrywide.

A child from a rich family can't withstand the that of the poor in terms of characters, morality and respect which supposed not, they ought to have the same level of discipline either rich or poor.
This is equally false. How many rich kids have you relate with to come up with this foolish assumption? That you interacted with many doesn't all are alike.

Moreover, a family which has only one child tends to over pamper the child which will ultimately leads to Indiscipline most especially if it's a male child.
Totally false not true you can't use few persons to draw conclusion.
Child upbringing is not meant for women alone but the men should as well partake in child upbringing because charity begins at home.
Where did you get this archaic idea that children upbringing is exclusively to women? There are many men out there disciplining their kids. This mindset of you and others towards thinking women are housewives should change. Many women hustle like their male counterpart to pull food on the table. Or haven't you wonder why they rarely have time for their kids?

Op research well by carry out interviews or questionnaire from your sample size before concluding. All you wrote are perceived assumptions which are not true. You gave fact but no reference to back your claims. Anybody can write this article but it becomes interesting when they are facts. It sounding more convincing when data are analyzed before making conclusion. Mr A can say that the cause of indiscipline isn't lack of home training but the media. Once he comes up with facts from interview or questionnaire, his article will be accepted more than Mr B that just write what he perceive in his mind.
