The Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) has won in seven of the 10 local government areas in Ondo State presidential election results released so far.
Eight local governments are yet to be announced.
The tally gives the PDP 118,358 votes, while the APC has 99,712votes.
The local governments won by the PDP are Akure North, Ifedore, Idanre, Ile Oluji/Okeigbo, Irele, Ondo East and Ose local governments.
Akoko North East, Akoko North West and Akoko South East, the areas under the influence of Ajayi Booffice, the incumbent senator representing Ondo North, fell to the APC.

let me educate you guys a little about electioneering process.
If for instance buhari won in this purported states with wide margins of voters as allegedly claimed,kano,katsina,kaduna and some other states but Atiku won the overall number of states including the FCT,then atiku will be declared winner.
ie if buhari won more voters lets assume 15million voters overall and atiku enmassed 12million voters but atiku won more states lets assume 21states plus the FCT compared to buhari's 14states won then atiku will be declared winner according to the constitution of electioneering process.
same applies to LGA,if a candidate won more LGA in a particular state irrespective of the other candidate scoring more voters but fewer LGA won,he won't be declared winner.This is according to the constitution. Thank you
