Your question not very clear bro.
I mean one of Jesus parables in the book Matthew 21:28-32
Re: Who Can Explain The Parable Of The 2 Sons To Me by Ihedinobi3: 9:19pm On Feb 26, 2019
In Matthew 21:29, 31, the answer is quite clear. The son that at first refused to obey his father but then later changed his mind and did was the one who obeyed his father.

The lesson that the Lord was teaching was that it isn't just what is said and how people talk that determines whether they are pleasing God. The scribes and Pharisees were big on talk and ostensible piety, but it is actual faith and the works of Faith that count.

Compare Luke 6:46 and Matthew 7:21 where the Lord Jesus stated explicitly that it is not just talking about God as Lord that means that anyone is saved. Faith in the Lord Jesus and diligence in growing in the Truth and helping others to do the same is what pleases the Lord. If anyone does that, even after initially refusing to do it like the prostitutes and tax collectors of that time did, then the Lord is pleased with them and will give them eternal rewards the likes of which this world cannot even dream.

. MATTHEW 21:28-32.

28. "But what think ye?
A certain man had two sons; and he came to the first,
and said,

'Son, go work to day in my vineyard.'

29. "He answered and said,

'I WILL NOT:'

but afterward he repented,
and went.
30. "And he came to the second,

And he answered and said,

'I GO, SIR:'

and went not.
31. "Whether of them twain
did the will of his father?"

They say unto him,

"The first."

Jesus Saith unto them,

"Verily I Say unto you,

'THAT THE PUBLICANS AND THE HARLOTS
GO INTO THE KINGDOM OF GOD BEFORE YOU.'

32. "For John came unto you in The Way of Righteousness,
and ye believed him not:
but the Publicans and the Harlots believed him:
and ye, when ye had seen it,
repented not afterward,
that ye might believe him."

Ihedinobi3:

. ROMANS 7:7.

7. What shall we say then?

"IS THE LAW SIN?"

God forbid.
Nay, I had not known Sin,
but by The Law:
for I had not known lust,
except The Law had said,

"THOU SHALT NOT COVET."

8. But Sin,
taking occasion by the Commandment,
wrought in me all manner of concupiscence.
For without The Law Sin was Dead.
9. For I was alive without The Law once:
but when The Commandment came,
Sin revived,
and I died.
10 And The Commandment,
Which was ordained to Life,
I found to be unto Death.
11. For Sin,
taking occasion by The Commandment,
deceived me,
and by It slew me.
12. Wherefore The Law is Holy,
and The Commandment Holy,
and Just,
and Good.
13. Was then that which is Good
made Death unto me?
God forbid. But Sin,
that it might appear Sin,
working Death in me by that which is Good;
that Sin by the Commandment
might become exceeding Sinful.
14. For we know that the Law is Spiritual:
but I am carnal, sold under Sin.
15. For that which I do I allow not:
for what I would, that do I not;
but what I Hate,
that do I.
16. If then I do that which I would not,
I consent unto the Law that it is good.
17. Now then it is no more I that do it,
but Sin that dwelleth in me.
18. For I know that in me
[that is, in my flesh,]
dwelleth no good thing:
for to will is present with me;
but how to perform
that which is good I find not.
19. For the Good that I would I do not:
but the Evil which I would not,
that I do.

20. Now if I do that I would not,
it is no more I that do it,
but Sin that dwelleth in me.

21. I find then a law, that, when I would do Good,
Evil is present with me.

22. For I delight in The Law of God after the Inward Man:

23. But I see another Law in my members,
warring against the Law of my Mind,
and bringing me into captivity to the Law of Sin
which is in my members.

24. O wretched man that I am!
Who shall deliver me from the body of this death?
25. I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
So then with the Mind I myself serve The Law of God;
but with the Flesh The Law of Sin.

YOU ARE IN ERROR, BECAUSE YOU WERE INDOCTRINATED TO BELIEVE THAT PAUL EVER SERVED GOD, AND WAS SENT BY LORD YESHUA TO TEACH THE CHURCH.

. ACTS 23:6.

6. But when Paul perceived
that the one part were Sadducees,
and the other Pharisees,
he cried out in the Council,

"Men and Brethren,
I am a Pharisee,
the son of a Pharisee:

PAUL REASSURED HIS COLLEAGUES OF HIS CONTINUED LOYALTY TO THEIR ORDER, WHICH HAD NEVER CHANGED IN ANY REGARD.

. MATTHEW 23:1-15.

THEN Spake Jesus to the multitude,
and to his Disciples,

2. Saying,

"The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat:
3. "All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe,
that observe and do; but do not ye after their works:
for they say, and do not.
4. "For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne,
and lay them on men's shoulders;
but they themselves will not move them
with one of their fingers.
5. "But all their works they do for to be seen of men:
they make broad their phylacteries,
and enlarge the borders of their garments,
6. "And love the Uppermost Rooms at feasts,
and the Chief Seats in the Synagogues,
7. "And greetings in the markets,
and to be called of men, 'Rabbi, Rabbi.'
8. "But be not ye called 'Rabbi:'
for one is your Master, even Christ;
and all ye are Brethren.
9. "And call no man your father upon the Earth:
for one is your Father, Which is in Heaven.
10. "Neither be ye called masters:
for one is your Master, even Christ.
11. "But he that is greatest among you
shall be your servant.
12. "And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased;
and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.
13. "But woe unto you,
scribes and Pharisees,
Hypocrites!
for ye shut up The Kingdom of Heaven against men:
for ye neither go in yourselves,
neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.
14. "Woe unto you,
scribes and Pharisees,
Hypocrites!
for ye devour widows' houses,
and for a pretence make long prayer:
therefore ye shall receive The Greater Damnation.
15. "Woe unto you,
scribes and Pharisees,
Hypocrites!
for ye compass Sea and Land
to make one proselyte,
and when he is made, ye make him
twofold more the Child of Hell
than yourselves."

AS PAUL INVENTED THE IDEA THAT THE CHURCH WAS A BRIDE TO LORD YESHUA, AND LORD YESHUA HAD DIED- BY THE ORDER OF THE PHARISEES, THEREFORE, HIS WRITINGS ARE CONSISTENT WITH THE PIOUS BULLSHIT PRAYERS PHARISEES BABBLED, WHEN DIVESTING WIDOWS OF THEIR RIGHTFUL PROPERTY, AFTER THEY HAD KILLED THEIR HUSBANDS.

PAUL'S DOCTRINE did not come from LORD YESHUA, but from his PHARISEE TRAINING at the feet of GAMALIEL- the Pharisee who agreed that the way to treat men who MIGHT be SERVANTS OF GOD was to BEAT THEM, and GAG them.

GAMALIEL'S Master was the renowned Rabbi HILLEL, who is best known for being ordered by a Roman Centurion to recite THE TORAH- while standing on one leg. He replied:

"THAT WHICH IS HATEFUL TO THEE,
DO NOT UNTO THY FELLOWMAN;
THAT IS THE WHOLE LAW,
THE REST IS MERE COMMENTARY!"

From the behavior of PAUL, GAMALIEL, and all of the Pharisees, you can see how HYPOCRITICALLY they treated those sentiments.

As Lord Yeshua said: "THEY SAY, AND DO NOT."

That is what Lord Yeshua was talking about in that Parable, issued the same week that he was going to die at the hands of people who were going to do to him what they would not want anyone to do to them.

Ihedinobi3:

Compare Luke 6:46 and Matthew 7:21 where the Lord Jesus stated explicitly that it is not just talking about God as Lord that means that anyone is saved. Faith in the Lord Jesus and diligence in growing in the Truth and helping others to do the same is what pleases the Lord. If anyone does that, even after initially refusing to do it like the prostitutes and tax collectors of that time did, then the Lord is pleased with them and will give them eternal rewards the likes of which this world cannot even dream.

FALSE: LORD YESHUA WAS TALKING ABOUT PEOPLE CALLING HIM LORD, LORD, NOT GOD.

. JOHN 20:17.

17. Jesus Saith unto her,

"Touch me not;
for I am not yet
Ascended to my Father:
but go to my Brethren,
and say unto them,

' I ASCEND UNTO MY FATHER,
AND YOUR FATHER;
AND TO MY GOD,
AND YOUR GOD.' "

Therefore, only THE FATHER is our God- not Lord Yeshua.

That exaggeration leads to the False Doctrine that The Roman Catholic Communion Wafer is GOD.

. MATTHEW 7:12-29.

12. "Therefore all things whatsoever ye would
that men should do to you, do ye even so to them:
for this is The Law and The Prophets."
13. "Enter ye in at the Strait Gate:
for Wide is the Gate, and Broad is the Way,
that leadeth to Destruction,
and many there be which go in thereat:
14. "Because Strait is the Gate, and Narrow is The Way,
which leadeth unto Life, and few there be that find it.
15. "Beware of False Prophets,
which come to you in sheep's clothing,
but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
16. "Ye shall know them by their Fruits.
Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
17. "Even so every good tree bringeth forth Good Fruit;
but a corrupt tree bringeth forth Evil Fruit.
18. "A Good Tree cannot bring forth Evil Fruit,
neither can a Corrupt Tree bring forth Good Fuit.
19. "Every Tree that bringeth not forth Good Fruit
is hewn down, and cast into The Fire.
20. "Wherefore by their Fruits ye shall know them.
21. "Not every one that saith unto me, 'Lord, Lord,'
shall enter into The Kingdom of Heaven;
but he that doeth The Will of my Father
Which is in Heaven.
22. "Many will say to me in That Day,

'LORD, LORD, HAVE WE NOT
PROPHESIED IN THY NAME?
AND IN THY NAME
HAVE CAST OUT DEVILS?
AND IN THY NAME
DONE MANY WONDERFUL WORKS?'

23. "And then will I profess unto them,

'I NEVER KNEW YOU:
DEPART FROM ME,
YE THAT WORK INIQUITY.'

24. "Therefore whosoever heareth
these Sayings of mine,
and doeth them,
I will liken him unto a Wise Man,
which built his House upon a Rock:
25. "And the rain descended,
and the floods came,
and the winds blew,
and beat upon that House;
and it Fell not:
for it was founded upon a Rock.
26. "And every one that heareth
these Sayings of mine,
and doeth them not,
shall be likened unto a Foolish Man,
which built his house upon the Sand:
27. "And the rain descended,
and the floods came,
and the winds blew,
and beat upon that House;
and it Fell:
and Great was The Fall of it."

28. And it came to pass,
when Jesus had ended these Sayings,
the People were astonished at his Doctrine:
29. For he Taught them as One having Authority,
and not as the scribes.

. LUKE 6:27-49.

27. "But I Say unto you which hear,

'LOVE YOUR ENEMIES,
DO GOOD TO THEM WHICH HATE YOU,
28. 'BLESS THEM THAT CURSE YOU,
AND PRAY FOR THEM
WHICH DESPITEFULLY USE YOU.
29. 'AND UNTO HIM THAT SMITETH THEE
ON THE ONE CHEEK
OFFER ALSO THE OTHER;
AND HIM THAT TAKETH AWAY THY CLOAK
FORBID NOT TO TAKE THY COAT ALSO.
30. 'GIVE TO EVERY MAN
THAT ASKETH OF THEE;
AND OF HIM THAT TAKETH
AWAY THY GOODS
ASK THEM NOT AGAIN.
31. 'AND AS YE WOULD
THAT MEN SHOULD DO TO YOU,
DO YE ALSO TO THEM LIKEWISE.'

32. "For if ye love them which love you,
what thank have ye?
For Sinners also love those that love them."
33. "And if ye do good to them
which do good to you,
what thank have ye?
For sinners also do even the same.
34. "And if ye lend to them
of whom ye hope to receive,
what thank have ye?
For Sinners also lend to Sinners,
to receive as much again.
35. "But love ye your Enemies,
and do good,
and lend,
hoping for nothing again;
and your Reward shall be great,
and ye shall be The Children of the Highest:
for he is Kind unto the Unthankful and to the Evil.
36. "Be ye therefore merciful,
as your Father also is Merciful.
37. "Judge not,
and ye shall not be Judged:
Condemn not,
and ye shall not be Condemned:
Forgive, and ye shall be Forgiven:
38. "Give, and it shall be given unto you;
good measure,
pressed down,
and shaken together,
and running over,
shall men give into your bosom.
For with the same measure
that ye mete withal
it shall be measured to you again."
39. And he spake a Parable unto them,

"Can the blind lead the blind?
shall they not both fall into the ditch?
40. "The disciple is not above his master:
but every one that is perfect shall be as his master.
41. "And why beholdest thou the mote
that is in thy Brother's eye, but perceivest not
the beam that is in thine own eye?
42. "Either how canst thou say to thy Brother,

'BROTHER, LET ME
PULL OUT THE MOTE
THAT IS IN THINE EYE,'

when thou thyself beholdest not
the beam that is in thine own eye?'

Thou hypocrite, cast out first
the beam out of thine own eye,
and then shalt thou see clearly
to pull out the mote
that is in thy brother's eye.
43. "For a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit;
neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
44. "For every tree is known by his own fruit.
For of thorns men do not gather figs,
nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes.
45. "A Good Man out of the Good Treasure of his heart
bringeth forth that which is Good;
and an Evil Man
out of the Evil Treasure of his heart
bringeth forth that which is Evil:
for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.
46. "And why call ye me, 'Lord, Lord,'
and do not the things which I say?
47. "Whosoever cometh to me,
and heareth my Sayings,
and doeth them,
I will shew you to whom he is like:
48. "He is like a man which built an house,
and digged deep,
and laid the foundation on a rock:
and when the flood arose,
the stream beat vehemently upon that house,
and could not shake it:
for it was founded upon a rock.
49. "But he that heareth, and doeth not,
is like a man that without a foundation
built an house upon the earth;
against which the stream did beat vehemently,
and immediately it fell;
and the ruin of that house was great."

IF YOU WERE A SINCERE BELIEVER, YOU SHOULD HAVE NOTED THAT WHAT PAUL TAUGHT WAS THE OPPOSITE OF WHAT LORD YESHUA SAID A PERSON HAS TO DO IN ORDER TO BE SAVED.

. ROMANS 10:8-13.

8. But what saith it?

“THE WORD IS NIGH THEE,
EVEN IN THY MOUTH,
AND IN THY HEART:”

that is, the Word of Faith,
which we preach;
9. That if thou shalt confess
with thy mouth the Lord Jesus,
and shalt believe in thine heart
that God hath raised him from the dead,
thou shalt be saved.
10. For with the heart man believeth unto Righteousness;
and with the mouth Confession is made unto Salvation.
11. For the Scripture saith,

"WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH ON HIM
SHALL NOT BE ASHAMED."

12. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek:
for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
13. For whosoever shall call upon
the Name of the Lord shall be Saved.

PAUL'S INCREDIBLE TREACHERY IS EVIDENCED BY THE WAY THAT HE TOOK DEUTERONOMY 30:14 OUT-OF-CONTEXT, IN ORDER TO PRESENT A MESSAGE THAT WAS THE EXACT OPPOSITE TO WHAT MOSES TAUGHT, RIGHT IN THAT VERY PASSAGE!

He taught that the Children of Israel that BELIEVING IN GOD WAS NOT ENOUGH- that they had to LOVE GOD, meaning to KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS.

. DEUTERONOMY 30:10-20.

10. If thou shalt hearken
unto The Voice of the LORD thy God,
to keep His Commandments and His Statutes
which are written in this Book of The Law,
and if thou turn unto The LORD thy God
with all thine heart,
and with all thy soul.
11. For this Commandment
Which I command thee this Day,
it is not hidden from thee,
neither is it far off.
12. It is not in Heaven,
that thou shouldest say,

"WHO SHALL GO
UP FOR US TO HEAVEN,
AND BRING IT UNTO US,
THAT WE MAY HEAR IT,
AND DO IT?"

13. Neither is it beyond the Sea,
that thou shouldest say,

"WHO SHALL GO
OVER THE SEA FOR US,
AND BRING IT UNTO US,
THAT WE MAY HEAR IT,
AND DO IT?"

14. But the Word is very nigh unto thee,
in thy mouth,
and in thy heart,
that thou mayest do It.
15. See, I have set before thee this Day
Life and Good,
and Death and Evil;
16. In that I Command thee
this Day to Love The LORD thy God,
to walk in His Ways,
and to keep His Commandments
and His Statutes and His Judgments,
that thou mayest live and multiply:
and The LORD thy God
shall bless thee in the Land
whither thou goest to possess it.
17. But if thine heart turn away,
so that thou wilt not hear,
but shalt be drawn away,
and worship other gods,
and serve them;
18. I denounce unto you this Day,
that ye shall surely perish,
and that ye shall not
prolong your days upon the Land,
whither thou passest over Jordan
to go to possess it.
19. I call Heaven and Earth
to record this Day against you,
that I have set before you
Life and Death,
Blessing and Cursing:
therefore choose Life,

That both thou and thy seed may live:
20. That thou mayest love the LORD thy God,
and that thou mayest obey His Voice,
and that thou mayest cleave unto Him:
for He is thy life,
and the length of thy days:
that thou mayest dwell in the Land
which the LORD sware unto thy fathers,
to Abraham,
to Isaac,
and to Jacob,
to give them.

BUT THE PHARISEE PAUL TAUGHT THAT PHYSICAL RIGHTEOUSNESS MEANT NOTHING- THAT THAT WAS FLESHLY AND CARNAL- BUT BELIEFS AND WORDS WERE SPIRITUAL, AND THEREFORE, ALL THAT WAS NECESSARY.

That is consistent with how THE PHARISEES treated YOCHANNAN BAPTIST and LORD YESHUA, as well as their fellow Israelites.

17. "Even so every good tree bringeth forth Good Fruit;
but a corrupt tree bringeth forth Evil Fruit.
21. "Not every one that saith unto me, 'Lord, Lord,'
shall enter into The Kingdom of Heaven;
but he that doeth The Will of my Father
Which is in Heaven.
22. "Many will say to me in That Day,

'LORD, LORD, HAVE WE NOT
PROPHESIED IN THY NAME?
AND IN THY NAME
HAVE CAST OUT DEVILS?
AND IN THY NAME
DONE MANY WONDERFUL WORKS?'

23. "And then will I profess unto them,

'I NEVER KNEW YOU:
DEPART FROM ME,
YE THAT WORK INIQUITY.'

24. "Therefore whosoever heareth
these Sayings of mine,
and doeth them,
I will liken him unto a Wise Man,
which built his House upon a Rock:
25. "And the rain descended,
and the floods came,
and the winds blew,
and beat upon that House;
and it Fell not:
for it was founded upon a Rock.
26. "And every one that heareth
these Sayings of mine,
and doeth them not,
shall be likened unto a Foolish Man,
which built his house upon the Sand:
27. "And the rain descended,
and the floods came,
and the winds blew,
and beat upon that House;
and it Fell:
and Great was The Fall of it."

28. And it came to pass,
when Jesus had ended these Sayings,
the People were astonished at his Doctrine:
29. For he Taught them as One having Authority,
and not as the scribes.

. LUKE 6:27-49.

27. "But I Say unto you which hear,

'LOVE YOUR ENEMIES,
DO GOOD TO THEM WHICH HATE YOU,
28. 'BLESS THEM THAT CURSE YOU,
AND PRAY FOR THEM
WHICH DESPITEFULLY USE YOU.
29. 'AND UNTO HIM THAT SMITETH THEE
ON THE ONE CHEEK
OFFER ALSO THE OTHER;
AND HIM THAT TAKETH AWAY THY CLOAK
FORBID NOT TO TAKE THY COAT ALSO.
30. 'GIVE TO EVERY MAN
THAT ASKETH OF THEE;
AND OF HIM THAT TAKETH
AWAY THY GOODS
ASK THEM NOT AGAIN.
31. 'AND AS YE WOULD
THAT MEN SHOULD DO TO YOU,
DO YE ALSO TO THEM LIKEWISE.'

32. "For if ye love them which love you,
what thank have ye?
For Sinners also love those that love them."
33. "And if ye do good to them
which do good to you,
what thank have ye?
For sinners also do even the same.
34. "And if ye lend to them
of whom ye hope to receive,
what thank have ye?
For Sinners also lend to Sinners,
to receive as much again.
35. "But love ye your Enemies,
and do good,
and lend,
hoping for nothing again;
and your Reward shall be great,
and ye shall be The Children of the Highest:
for he is Kind unto the Unthankful and to the Evil.
36. "Be ye therefore merciful,
as your Father also is Merciful.
37. "Judge not,
and ye shall not be Judged:
Condemn not,
and ye shall not be Condemned:
Forgive, and ye shall be Forgiven:
38. "Give, and it shall be given unto you;
good measure,
pressed down,
and shaken together,
and running over,
shall men give into your bosom.
For with the same measure
that ye mete withal
it shall be measured to you again."
39. And he spake a Parable unto them,

"Can the blind lead the blind?
shall they not both fall into the ditch?
40. "The disciple is not above his master:
but every one that is perfect shall be as his master.
41. "And why beholdest thou the mote
that is in thy Brother's eye, but perceivest not
the beam that is in thine own eye?
42. "Either how canst thou say to thy Brother,

'BROTHER, LET ME
PULL OUT THE MOTE
THAT IS IN THINE EYE,'

when thou thyself beholdest not
the beam that is in thine own eye?'

Thou hypocrite, cast out first
the beam out of thine own eye,
and then shalt thou see clearly
to pull out the mote
that is in thy brother's eye.
43. "For a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit;
neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
44. "For every tree is known by his own fruit.
For of thorns men do not gather figs,
nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes.
45. "A Good Man out of the Good Treasure of his heart
bringeth forth that which is Good;
and an Evil Man
out of the Evil Treasure of his heart
bringeth forth that which is Evil:
for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.
46. "And why call ye me, 'Lord, Lord,'
and do not the things which I say?
47. "Whosoever cometh to me,
and heareth my Sayings,
and doeth them,
I will shew you to whom he is like:
48. "He is like a man which built an house,
and digged deep,
and laid the foundation on a rock:
and when the flood arose,
the stream beat vehemently upon that house,
and could not shake it:
for it was founded upon a rock.
49. "But he that heareth, and doeth not,
is like a man that without a foundation
built an house upon the earth;
against which the stream did beat vehemently,
and immediately it fell;
and the ruin of that house was great."

“THE WORD IS NIGH THEE,
EVEN IN THY MOUTH,
AND IN THY HEART:”

that is, the Word of Faith,
which we preach;
9. That if thou shalt confess
with thy mouth the Lord Jesus,
and shalt believe in thine heart
that God hath raised him from the dead,
thou shalt be saved.
10. For with the heart man believeth unto Righteousness;
and with the mouth Confession is made unto Salvation.
11. For the Scripture saith,

"WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH ON HIM
SHALL NOT BE ASHAMED."

12. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek:
for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
13. For whosoever shall call upon
the Name of the Lord shall be Saved.

PAUL'S INCREDIBLE TREACHERY IS EVIDENCED BY THE WAY THAT HE TOOK DEUTERONOMY 30:14 OUT-OF-CONTEXT, IN ORDER TO PRESENT A MESSAGE THAT WAS THE EXACT OPPOSITE TO WHAT MOSES TAUGHT, RIGHT IN THAT VERY PASSAGE!

He taught that the Children of Israel that BELIEVING IN GOD WAS NOT ENOUGH- that they had to LOVE GOD, meaning to KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS.

. DEUTERONOMY 30:10-20.

10. If thou shalt hearken
unto The Voice of the LORD thy God,
to keep His Commandments and His Statutes
which are written in this Book of The Law,
and if thou turn unto The LORD thy God
with all thine heart,
and with all thy soul.
11. For this Commandment
Which I command thee this Day,
it is not hidden from thee,
neither is it far off.
12. It is not in Heaven,
that thou shouldest say,

"WHO SHALL GO
UP FOR US TO HEAVEN,
AND BRING IT UNTO US,
THAT WE MAY HEAR IT,
AND DO IT?"

13. Neither is it beyond the Sea,
that thou shouldest say,

"WHO SHALL GO
OVER THE SEA FOR US,
AND BRING IT UNTO US,
THAT WE MAY HEAR IT,
AND DO IT?"

14. But the Word is very nigh unto thee,
in thy mouth,
and in thy heart,
that thou mayest do It.
15. See, I have set before thee this Day
Life and Good,
and Death and Evil;
16. In that I Command thee
this Day to Love The LORD thy God,
to walk in His Ways,
and to keep His Commandments
and His Statutes and His Judgments,
that thou mayest live and multiply:
and The LORD thy God
shall bless thee in the Land
whither thou goest to possess it.
17. But if thine heart turn away,
so that thou wilt not hear,
but shalt be drawn away,
and worship other gods,
and serve them;
18. I denounce unto you this Day,
that ye shall surely perish,
and that ye shall not
prolong your days upon the Land,
whither thou passest over Jordan
to go to possess it.
19. I call Heaven and Earth
to record this Day against you,
that I have set before you
Life and Death,
Blessing and Cursing:
therefore choose Life,

That both thou and thy seed may live:
20. That thou mayest love the LORD thy God,
and that thou mayest obey His Voice,
and that thou mayest cleave unto Him:
for He is thy life,
and the length of thy days:
that thou mayest dwell in the Land
which the LORD sware unto thy fathers,
to Abraham,
to Isaac,
and to Jacob,
to give them.

BUT THE PHARISEE PAUL TAUGHT THAT PHYSICAL RIGHTEOUSNESS MEANT NOTHING- THAT THAT WAS FLESHLY AND CARNAL- BUT BELIEFS AND WORDS WERE SPIRITUAL, AND THEREFORE, ALL THAT WAS NECESSARY.

That is consistent with how THE PHARISEES treated YOCHANNAN BAPTIST and LORD YESHUA, as well as their fellow Israelites.
I have no idea what your point is.

Are you disagreeing with my answer that it was the son who actually went to do what his father told him to do who did, in fact, obey his father in spite of his earlier refusal?

Or are you disagreeing that we are saved by grace through faith not by lots of pious talk and pretty actions done for human acclaim?
Re: Who Can Explain The Parable Of The 2 Sons To Me by Nobody: 4:44pm On Mar 01, 2019
the answer lies in the book of James

James 2:14, 18-20, 23-24 What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?

Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.

Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.

But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?

And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.

Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.

our works proves the truity of our faith.

if we say we say we have faith in Jesus and do not do what he commands us, our faith is dead (false).

the summary of Jesus parable is that the one who obeys is the one that agreed truly from his heart while the other simply agreed from his lips.

The parable is broad than most people understand it from my own estimation.
The Father (God) had two sons, the obedient and disobedient one or the prodigal son.
My focus is on the obedient one:
Remember the obedient one was sad after the returning disobedient was given special treatment. Well, the obedient one served his father and didn't know his right ( my people perish for lack of knowledge ), if he knew he had access to the fat cows, and all components of the great celebratory table the returning one provoked from the father to consume, then he would have been celebrating every day the disobedient one was away, but he knew not and so complained.

Today in the world we see this scenario constantly playing out.
Supposedly Christians want to go live their lives waywardly and return at advanced age to God, but the faithful servants serving all the while the erring ones were away barely knew their right and so envied even the ones away or unsaved ones or even suffered defeat.

In the spirit realm, you don't posses what you are not aware of (revelation) and that's why ignorance limits people.

OP... @Ihedinobi3 is correct, particularly about the first son being the one that did the will of his father.

The LORD GOD places emphasis on action / obedience to His holy word, rather than only pledging loyalty to him without action.

Build on the Rock
But why do you call Me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do the things which I say? Whoever comes to Me, and hears My sayings and does them, I will show you whom he is like: He is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock. And when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently against that house, and could not shake it, for it was founded on the rock. But he who heard and did nothing is like a man who built a house on the earth without a foundation, against which the stream beat vehemently; and immediately it fell. And the ruin of that house was great.” - Luke 6:46-49

Also, John 14:15 - “If you love Me, keep My commandments."

"for not the hearers of the law are just in the sight of God, but the doers of the law will be justified;" - Romans 2:13

Salvation is not by works, of course, but GOD says if you love me, obey Me.

Peace & Blessings!
