Senate president is not for first timers. The post would have gone to SE but both kalu and okorocha are first timers. The post will go either SS- omo agege or NC

Lawan is from north east, he is the likely candidate but ss and nc needs to be pacified. SE shot themselves in the leg

You are pathetic. It's because you think such cannot happen in your region. Pray for peace always, don't be a sore loser.

It will be zoned to either SS or North Central

No law states that it's only a ranking senator can become Senate president, even if it does, apc are known for not obeying the law

You guys are funny. Don't worry about SE. We don't regret what we did and if given another opportunity between Buhari and Atiku, we will vote for Atiku over and over again.

some odds against him.
1. the senate will not pick a first timer as their president (tho akpabio became a minority leader as a first timer)
2. oshiomhole and the APC hierarchy may fear a back lash from an okorocha presidency. recall they messed him up in imo state.
3. we still have orji Uzor Kalu (assuming they waive the first timer thing) , Ovie omo agege and timipre silva

He cant. Would have been Akpabio, (seems that's what he negotiated for), but his people did t get the message. For the sake of argument what if Remi tinubu becomes the Senate President. She's Qualified .

I think senator ovie omo-agege is very qualified for the position as he is very sound and a very good lawyer. So south-south should have the senate presidency and deputy should come from north-east some like ali ndume or danjuma goje or any other competent hand from that region will do. Then in the house of reps the speaker should come from the south-east, imo state to be precise they should be rewarded for give apc an in road into the south-east. Deputy speaker should come from any where in the north central considering the fact that the last senate president is from the region.
This way all the regions will be duely represented in the new tenure. It will look something like dis:-

President - northwest
Vice president - southwest
Senate president - southsouth
Deputy senate president - northeast
Speaker - southeast
Deputy speaker - northcentral
