Dearest!........According to the Psalmist, everything on earth belongs to God. God is actively in charge of every nation, including its governance. He is in charge of all things for His own glory and that is why He reignes in majesty. If He likes, He can choose a leader to correct, punish and to bless His people. He is God, we are his creatures. He does anything He likes purposely for our common good. He is God not humanbeing, rich in love and compasion.
However, when there is a vestigial social chaos or disorder in a system, caused by some parts of the system; attaining turnaround within such a system might be difficult. Nigeria as a nation is a system with components characterised of: ethnicity, diverse culture, religious and complex core values occsioned by our background and other social factors. This phenomenon affects our behaviour and general perception of things around us.
Moreover, success don't just come on a platter of gold, it has to pass through stages of development with utmost sincerity. Success or breakthrough must come after toughness of different guise; but with prayer and hardwork succes must be recorded. Success is not sporadic or spontaneous as many people agitated, it has to be strategic and systemic in approach. In a way, success cannot be packaged as a gift, work is the pass code.
Nigeria has started another race of four years with mixed reactions from Nigerians home and abroad. Whatever happens to Nigeria we must acknowledge that God knows about it, He is in charge of Nigeria no body else.
In bringing change or development, there must be hurdles to be surmounted, difficulties must be encountered.
In a nutshell, it is quite pertinent for Nigeria to shun negative words and move on. Nigeria is our Jerusalem. Let's pray for peace of Nigeria and support the government. Sentimentalism, sectionalism and tribalism and media tantrums cannot land us our esteemed Nigeria. Remember it is not easy to govern people, let's appreciate our leader, it is not easy to campaign for election in Nigeria setting, those who are courageous enough to run for one post or the other have all tried, no winner no loser we are all Nigerians. God bless Nigeria and world at large. Remain positive!
