in fact the guy can move higher to even the level of "fomer presidential candidate" afterall we have over 50 parties and about half of them dont have presidential candidates. Even OBJ's estranged wife once contested the presidential election.

Maybe true, but whatever the case I really don't see this guy presenting much of a distraction to IBB's camp. GEJ should infiltrate the core north if he wants to win, Benue is relatively small fry in the larger scheme of affairs.

I think Ayu is too pro North to be a Jonathan Goodluck's invention or pawn. Besides Jonathan seems to have his most loyal supporters in the North Central. So encouraging another candidate from North Central especially from Benue or Plateau can not in anyway be in Jonathan's favour.

Dr Iyorchia Ayu's decision to run has Atiku's finger prints written all over it. Remember as we speak Atiku has been blocked out of PDP while Ayu has successfully completed his return to PDP from AC.
