✴ NYSC Online Registration For 2019 Batch 'A' PCMs - Everything You Need To Know ✴

The NYSC online registration or biometric registration is a type of registration being done online after your Institution have mobilized you for NYSC programme. Every Prospective Corps Members (PCM) is mandated to go to any cyber café and registered at the NYSC online portal.
Or they can do the registration from their homes with personal computer system.

Please, be informed that your Institution must upload your name/data on the online NYSC senate list before you will be able to register online. Until your name is uploaded, the NYSC system is not going to accept your registration. Also, be informed that some institutions will be uploading senate list while the online registration is on going, so any moment your Institution upload your name, just run to the cyber café to start your registration.

Also, note that the online registration will not start until the NYSC registration portal is open; it is usually open at the midnight on the registration day. i.e. since 2019 Batch 'A' Registration date is fixed on Monday 4th March, 2019. It means that the NYSC registration portal will be opened at 2:00am midnight unless if NYSC system encounter some hitches.


�The Official Registration Date

The NYSC Online Registration date for Foreign and Locally Trained Nigerian Graduate commences 4th March, 2019. It was precariously fixed to commence on 18th February, 2019 but due to logistics problems, NYSC had to shift it to 4th March 2019.

�Qualifications For NYSC Registration

We have compiled all the qualifications you need to serve. After online registration, when you go to the NYSC camp, they will ask you for some documents, if you do not provide any of the required documents, you would be chased out of the NYSC camp. �Vital Things To Know About NYSC Registration

Before you go into the NYSC registration portal to begin your registration, you should read about these vital things.

1. There is no accredited registration centers. It existed before but not applicable anymore. If you go the NYSC official website, you will see those accredited centres but all of them have gone to extinction. So, there is no functional accredited centre for the NYSC online registration. Meaning that you can do your registration anywhere, even at your home. But one thing you should ensure is; the thumbprint scanner must be "DigitalPersona 450" that is exactly the type used for JAMB registration.

2. Beware of fake websites or blogs out there, fashioned with the purpose to misinform or scam you. Stay with us at otondo.com.ng we are the most reliable for accurate NYSC updates and News.

3. If you register on time, you will be most likely to serve with Batch 'A' Stream1; so try to register on time (either the first or second day that the portal is opened) but that doesn’t guarantee posting to Lagos. Beware of scammers that will ask you to pay so that they will work your posting.

4. To avoid being stranded, do not provide fake information or fake documents at any point through your NYSC Journey. If you must make sure it looks authentic enough.

5. Do not, I repeat do not register or do anything about NYSC registration on any website other than the ones listed below:

6. You will pay about N3,000 via remita (you can pay at the bank or with card) if you wish to print your NYSC call-up letter online. But if you want to visit your institution to collect the letter, you don't need to pay. We advise you pay. It is more convenient if you pay.

�Foreign Trained Graduates

7. If you graduated from any university outside Nigeria, and your Institution is accredited by the Federal Ministery of Education, then during your registration ensure that you upload the following documents below:

(a. West African School Certificate (WASC) (with not less than 5 Credits at 2 sittings) or its equivalent; or General Certificate of Education (GCE O' Level) [with not less than 5 Credits at 2 sittings] or its equivalent; or NECO (with not less than 5 Credits at 2 sittings) or its equivalent; or High School Diploma or its equivalent.
(b. First Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) Certificate (Second Degree or Ph.D not necessary).
(c. Transcript of the first Degree or HND.
(d. International travelling Passport showing data page and date of departure for the course of study.
(e. ATTESTATION LETTERS OR TESTIMONIALS are not acceptable in lieu of original Degree/HND Certificates.
(f. All working class Graduates are required to upload their original ADMISSION LETTERS and LETTER OF APPROVAL from their respective employers to undertake their courses.
(g. All graduates of Medicine and other health related courses such as Nursing Science, Laboratory Science, Physiotherapy, Pharmacy etc MUST posses and upload current-professional license. Expired license is not acceptable for mobilization.

8. Married female PCMs (whether locally or foreign-trained) should upload copies of their marriage Certificates, evidence of Change of name and their husbands' place of domicile during online registration.

�Important Things You Need

Below are the important things you need for the online registration, ensure you make no mistake about them.

Create a working e-mail address if you don't have it before (gmail is more preferable)
Functional Nigeria Phone number
Password: please take note of your login password because you will use it through your service.
Your fingerprint: Thumbprint only with DigitalPersona450

After the registration, the next thing is to wait for the NYSC Call-up letter and then proceed to orientation camp.
