It’s being a period of celebration and jubilation from the 1st of March 2019 as the staff of Unity Bank Plc are currently basking in the euphoria of promotion and notch increment. Jobsfollow can report.

We got information from a reliable insider that no less than 124 staff were promoted and 187 were given notch increment as a way to reward staff performance after thorough appraisal exercise in the year 2018. The promotion came just as the 2019 1st quarter is about wrapping up.

Staff whose appraisal met the promotion criteria of the bank and have stayed on a grade for at least Five years, also, staff recommended based on exceptional performance and with good appraisal were considered in the promotion exercise.

However, it was quite an irksome period for the operation staff of the bank as our source maintained that many of them were not promoted. A greater percentage of the staff promoted were mostly marketers and some back office staff, 95% of operation staff only got notch increment. Said the source.

Unity bank, a financial institution with more prominence in the northern Nigeria is a one of the banks that had survived many of the storms that had over the years rocked the banking sector which reaffirmed its viability.

The bank congratulates all the promoted staff and urged them to continue to put in their best in order to move the bank forward. All other staff are also encouraged to put in their best and strive to distinguish themselves so that they can be rewarded in due course as promotion exercise in an ongoing process. The source said.
