Buhari’s Aide, Onochie Reacts As EFCC Detains Atiku’s Son-in-law by Mandynews(f): 2:00pm On Mar 04, 2019
Personal Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Social Media, Lauretta Onochie has reacted to the arrest of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar’s son-in-law and family’s financial adviser, Babalele Abdullahi.

In a tweet, the former Vice President urged those allegedly persecuting his family members and associates to remember that government was meant to pursue peace and justice.

He tweet, "My son in law and lawyer have been detained, one for 3 weeks and the other recently. They are paying the price for supporting me. I urge those now persecuting them to remember that a government’s mandate is to pursue peace and justice for all, and not just those who support them."

Onochie reacted with, ”Its sad that you are selling the idea that when people commit crimes, they should be allowed to walk free, simply because they are related to you.”Nigeria has laws which go after and apprehend those who break them. Nigerians must be thankful that you can’t take us back to impunity.”

So what crime did they commit ?

Several days after the arrest, we have still not heard of their committed crimes..

The way they are gearing Atiku not to go to tribunal, something is really amiss.

These are political steps to subdue him.
