Ahmed Musa who currently plays for Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia will be looking to chase multiple career milestones with the Super Eagles in their Seychelles and Egypt fixtures in March.

According to Football Live, both matches are set to be held at Stephen Keshi stadium in Asaba with tipped to be the captain in the absence of John Mikel Obi, who was excluded in the 23-man squad released on Monday, March 4.

In regular skipper Mikel's absence, Musa will have a chance to add two more international to his current 80, taking consideration if he gets to play the final qualifier for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) on March 22 and an international friendly against Egypt four days later at the same above mentioned venue.

If Musa manages to score in the two fixtures, he will move up on the Super Eagles' goalscoring ranks as a brace would set to take him up alongside former Villareal striker, Ikechukwu Uche to 19 and become Nigeria's fourth highest scorer.

The former Kano Pillars, VV Venlo of Holland, CSKA Moscow of Russia and Leicester City of England star is already Nigeria’s top scorer in World Cup history, following the braces he netted against Argentina at Brazil 2014 and Iceland at Russia 2018.
