Get the authorities involved as a deterrent to others. I often wonder about our teachers in Primary and Secondary schools who so much believe in canes, should they finds themselves outside Nigeria teaching where canes are not allowed, how will they cope? 1 Like |

Is the child stubborn or lazy? If this is true, then it may seem wise not to rebuke the teachers actions in front of the child so that he or she understands that there are consequences for being lazy or stubborn. The teacher could be met privately and your grievance made known to him or her. I believe that there is no learning without discipline.
