An investment company urgently needs an Investment Associate that possesses an in-depth knowledge of negotiation and execution of investments, financial modeling and analysis and due diligence.

Responsibilities:

· Collaborate with and support senior investment professionals in the origination and evaluation of new investment opportunities
· Develop the financial models to analyze investment opportunities (including the testing of assumptions and sensitivities)
· Lead due diligence on private equity portfolios and managers; evaluate industry and company dynamics, valuation practices and exit environment
· Meet with senior leadership to review past performance, strategy, outlook, industry issues, and other relevant topics as required
· Carry out detailed research and analysis to assist in new investment origination and execution
· Manage advisor work streams and liaise with other transaction participants
· Monitor existing portfolio investments, including quarterly performance review and preparation of quarterly reporting package for Limited Partners

Job Requirements
· 2+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital or other relevant areas
· Undergraduate degree, preferably in non-financial subjects such as commerce or business administration, humanities, art & design or the sciences
· High degree of professionalism and integrity
· Strong research, financial modeling, problem solving, analytical and valuation skills
· Highly effective communicator
· Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in work output
· Experience managing multiple stakeholders, advisors and work streams gained in a private-equity deal execution environment
· Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure
· High level of proficiency in Excel and very complex financial modeling skills including M&A modeling and LBO’s, gained in a deals environment
· Willingness to work across the organization in support of ad hoc projects as required
· Team player who enjoys a high-performance culture
· Willingness to travel
