Akwa Ibom State Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Gubernatorial Candidate in the 9 March 2019 elections, Mr Udom Gabriel Emmanuel, today, Tuesday 5th March, 2019, paid homage to the Patriarch of Akwa Esop Imaisong Ibibio, the Ntisong Ibibio 111, Obong (Dr) Essien U. Ekidem at his Palace, Ewet Housing Estate, Uyo.

Obong Ekidem who presented Mr Udom Emmanuel with a copy of the King James version of the Holy Bible, used the occasion of the visit to convey Patriarchal blessings on Mr Emmanuel, wishing him success in the forthcoming gubernatorial polls.
